The much awaited judgement from the presidential election tribunal has come and gone. We now know the winner and the losers. The Peter Obi camp, Labour Party (LP) and it’s horde of Obidient followers, are already wailing and screaming blue murder, insisting that justice was not served. Same with the Abubakar Atiku camp (PDP), they are both threatening to take their case to the Supreme Court to seek justice. Many of the Obi and Atiku supporters didn’t see the judgement coming the way it did. They expected that the Tribunal would rule in their favour because they were sure they had all it takes to win the case.
But one man saw it all coming the way it did. He saw the judgement months before it was pronounced. And he warned every one of them that the court case was nothing but an exercise in futility. Primate Ayodele Elijah, the founder and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church had been warning both parties and their supporters brimming with high hopes of expectations from the Tribunal to snap out of their delusion and face reality, which is that they would not get the justice they seek from the court. Not even the Supreme Court would give them justice, he warned.
A couple of months ago, the world renowned man of God who has remained clearly Nigeria’s most consistent and most talked about Prophet in terms of the accuracy of his prophecies, told City People in an exclusive interview, “from what the Lord showed me, I cannot see Peter Obi or Abubakar Atiku winning at the Tribunal. There is nothing like victory for them, go and mark my words. But if they like o, they can go ahead and waste their money paying lawyers to fight the case for them in court. But as far as I can see, it is going to amount to nothing but a pure waste of time and resources. What they need to do is seek the face of God on this matter. Emilokan declaration by President Tinubu is stronger than what anybody can imagine. Making noise all over the place or going to court to waste money is not going to solve anything, Obi and Atiku have already made their mistakes, so they should be ready to live with the consequences! ” Those were his exact words a couple of months ago, in July, to be precise. But, clearly, neither Obi nor Atiku listened to his wise counsel.
A day after the Tribunal passed its judgement, City People’s WALE LAWAL (08037209290) sought to know Primate Ayodele’s reaction to the judgement. The man of God, as usual, was busy meeting with several dignitaries from within and outside the country who were waiting to seek his counsel on various issues. Eventually, by 9pm Thurday evening, with many still waiting at the reception area to see him, he was able to squeeze out time to talk with us. And as usual, it was worth the wait. Primate, always frank and sometimes brutal with the truth, spoke his mind and revealed things exactly the way they are, not minding who feels offended by his utterances. Here are excerpts of the interview.
The long awaited judgement from the Tribunal has been passed yesterday, sir, and President Tinubu has emerged victorious. What is your reaction to this judgement, sir?
When I told people that they should not underestimate the declaration of Emilokan by Tinubu, they thought I was just making noise. They thought I was just running my mouth. They do not understand the spiritual strength embedded inside the declaration of Emilokan. It is not just a chant, it is a powerful spiritual declaration. It is not something anybody should toy with. Let me tell you the truth, whether Nigerians accept it or not, whether Nigerians believe me or not, nobody, right now, can stop Emilokan because Emilokan is divine. Only God can stop the power of Emilokan. But, apart from it being divine, Peter Obi and Atiku also did not do things the way they ought to have been done. In politics, you seek the face of God first before playing politics. You don’t play politics with spiritualism. And another important thing is that, in politics, you don’t ignore truth and lies, you take the two together and blend them together to form a useful political weapon for you and that’s what can give you victory. But if you want to buy truth alone, you won’t get there.
So, Emilokan has gone very far technically, legally, financially, to wrestle power from anybody. It will be difficult for any body at this stage to stop Emilokan from going ahead to finish first term. For Peter Obi and Atiku, going forward to take the case to the Supreme Court will not amount to anything. I have said this over and over again. Believe me, all the judges have all been captured by the enchantment of Emilokan. These people will be confused again, even at the Supreme Court level. Hoping to get justice at the higher court is a mirage, it will never happen. There is injustice in justice. So, mark my word, Emilokan will rule for four years. I cannot speak about the next four years after 2027, but what will happen then is what we are praying about so that God shoud help the government. We are already going into the most difficult days of our nation’s history and we are going to face it in a triple way. There are so many things that will come up in the reign of Emilokan, but I will keep quiet for now. Next interview, I will reveal to you what Nigerians should be expecting, apart from those things that we have been shouting about for a long time now. Let’s pray and see how God plans to diirect the leadership of this country. I pray that God should be with them, but I must tell you that a lot is still going to happen.
I recall, sir, that you warned Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar long before the Tribunal gave it’s judgement yesterday that they are both merely wasting their time, that both of them will lose their cases and that they should forget…
(Cuts in) Even at the Supreme Court, they will lose. That is the truth. And let me tell you, Obi losing at the Tribunal will make the Igbos to be messed up politically. Igbo will not be president of Nigeria even in 2027.
So, sir, you’re saying categorically that Obi should forget about the Supreme court as well?
I will still talk about the Supreme Court but the fact remains that they are all underr the spell of Emilokan. It has captured all of them.Emilokan is opowerful.
So, beyond the Supreme Court, what advice do you have for both Obi and Atiku at this time?
I don’t have any advice for them right now. You know the lawyers are still busy even as we speak, plotting their next move And besides, I don’t know their lawyers and neither do I have any links to them. If I knew them one on one, that would’ve been a different thing.
With this victory now, sir, the Tinubu government will be sitting pretty and believe that they have everything in order, but what should Nigerians expect from the Tinubu government between now and the next one year?
That’s why I said I will speak about all of that in a later to be scheduled interview. But for now, I want to limit my comments only to reasons why Obi and Atiku failed at the Tribunal. They didn’t go about it the right way at all. You don’t go into politics with emotions. Politics is not for emotional people, it’s for people with hardened heart, people whose harts are made of stone. So, that is just it. Getting emotional cannot help you win an election.
And let me state this very clearly, it is not even Obi’s turn to become president. What Obi and Atiku should’ve done is to merge and claim this victory but they were both misled.
I remember that you were also angry with them when they both chose to go to different parties to claim the presidential ticket…
That is the consequence you pay for taking advice from the wrong people, all they would do is lead you astray and push you straight into a ditch and at the end of the day you get nothing and you lose everything. If you ask me, it doesn’t have to be Atiku that will contest, they could’ve picked another strong candidatethat will defeat Emilokan.
The office of the president is not for people who arte not spiritually inclined. You must be spiritually inclined and must be close to God. You must be able to do so many things and get directives from God for you to become popular and hold position of integrity.
Finally, sir, this defeat at the Tribunal has really hurt the Igbos because they were expecting something different…
It’s because they know the electin was flawed with too many irregularities. Like I said before, Emilokan is a spirit. It has defrauded us. It didn’t win the election but it claimed the victory. And there is nothing we can do about it. That is the kind of king that we want and God has given it to us because that is what we voted for.
