The event was a star studded one as veterans in gospel music like Evangelist Dunni Olanrewaju Opelope Anointing, Evang Timi Orokoya Telemi, Evang Esther Igbekele, Dare Melody to mention a few, came to honour and support the celebrant. The cord of love and unity was visible as most of the executives and members of the Gospel Musician Association of Nigeria GOMAN came to celebrate with their own. The event started exactly 3pm with welcoming of guest by popular ace radio broadcaster, Omo Oluwa. Shortly after, the event started properly with opening prayer and praise and worship by the Mass Choir. Omo Oluwa who was the compere of the event thrilled the guest with jokes as he introduced dignitaries present.
Mama Opelope Anointing, Mrs Esther Igbekele, Aduke Gold and other guest ministers had an exceptional ministration and their fans were blessed. The celebrant, pastor Mrs grace Folashade and her Triumphant Gospel singer took to the stage and she shared the testimony of how God saved her from a mysterious illness that almost claimed her life. No one around believed that she would have survived because it took her two years before she got her deliverance and that was what birthed the Album Living Testimony. She also used the same medium to appreciate everyone who stood with her in her times of trials. She said “it is only God who has turned my misery into mystery and my mourning into dancing”.
The Gospel Musicians Association Of Nigeria, Ejigbo Isolo Chapter, gave an award of honour to Pastor Mrs Grace Folashade Oladimeji for her enormous “Contribution, love and support to the Group as a whole.
The member showered the celebrant with prayers and words of encouragement as she has been a vital tool to the growth of the group.
Honourary Awards were presented to Ejigbo local Government chairman in person Mr Bello Monsuru Oloyede but he was unavoidably absent and was represented by the secretary to the local govt. Also Mr Adeotan, who is the CEO of Webside group of companies was awarded to mention a few. The event was rounded up with words of appreciation and prayers to God, her husband and children, GLOBACOM as one of their strong sponsors, all executives and members of GOMAN, Patrons, Matrons, Advisers, Mentors, media partners, families, friend and fans for the love and support they have shown her and she promise to do her best not to fail God and lovers of her music. She also specially appreciate all the guest artistes who made the concert a reality. She kept showering praises and prayers on Esther Igbekele who has always made herself available for the annual concert since its inception.
