Preliminary talks on the burial arrangements of the late Ibadan-based iconic photographer, Pa David Owolabi Ositelu, better known and called “Born Photo”, started this afternoon at a meeting held in the home of Oloye ‘Lekan Alabi, Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadanland, at Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria.
Present at the meeting were three of the late Pa Ositelu’s four children.
They were Ms Bolanle Ositelu, Mr Oluwaseye Ositelu and Mr Oluwafemi Ositelu.
Resolutions taken included arranging a befitting funeral service at the Methodist Church, Cathedral Agbeni and burial of the late doyen of photography, on Friday,31st December 2021, in Ibadan, Oyo State. Meanwhile, a condolence register will be opened on Monday,27th December 2021, at the BORN PHOTO studio, Isale Osi, Ibadan. Pa Ositelu, died peacefully while taking a nap in his studio yesterday. He was aged 86 years.
