Prophet Abiara’s Farewell Speech As He Retires

Foremost, I worship the eternal King of Glory, the Ancient of Days and the great I AM for HIS grace and mercy on this mission.

I also give God praise for all of you here seated because you are privileged to witness today in peace.

The Psalmist says it is a good thing to give thanks to God.

So we give God praise due to Him for giving us this day.

APPRECIATION

My special appreciation goes to the authority of Christ Apostolic Church worldwide for their commitment to the work of God. I am very grateful to them for their hands of love towards me during my tenure those 10 years.

I can say with all boldness that the leaders in this mission have Jesus Christ as their Master. They are matured Christians.  I say it anywhere that the leadership in CAC is full of credible leaders. They are competent and outstanding in everything. We are proud of you sirs for your God fearing lifestyle. We are so blessed to have highly resourceful people, men and women of integrity, well educated and intellectuals in CAC worldwide. I am proud to be one of you.

I specially appreciate our amiable President, Pastor Akinosun for his humility and generosity. He is a man of God to the core. Thank God Almighty for your life and worthy leadership role.

I am also indebted to all sons and daughters of CAC everywhere in the world for your, love, prayers, supports and cooperation during my tenure as the General Evangelist. I thank you all. God will remember you for good.

THE PROGRESS IN CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH

A Yoruba Adage says, “igi kan ko le da igbo se” meaning “a tree does not make a forest.”  By the grace of God, Christ Apostolic Church is an ever progressing Church from the beginning. When I came in as the General Evangelist 10 years ago, I met this mission progressing. However, my presence added color to the already progressing mission.

On the other hand, every one of you, I mean every son and daughter of CAC has contributed in one way or the other to the progress of the Church. Therefore, the progress we see today is a matter of joint effort, we are all involved. May God help us to continue to move the mission forward with everything we have in Jesus name.

APOSTLE AYO BABALOLA

We thank God for this great man of God, a powerful revivalist, Prophet of God, Great Apostle and a selfless preacher of the truth. He did many unforgettable things in the body of Christ. His works speaks even after death. Let us learn from this great Apostolic Father.

CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO

In Politics Chief Obafemi Awolowo was a great man in Nigerian politics, who left an indelible marks on the sound of time in Nigerian politics.

1.)He named Nigeria’s national currency as ‘Naira’ when he was the Federal Commissioner for Finance.

2.) Awolowo introduced free primary education for all and free health care for children in the Western Region.

3. )He established the first television station in Africa in 1959.

We can never forget his good deeds.

NELSON MANDELA OF SOUTH AFRICA

A man of integrity, he fought for the freedom of his people

Nelson Mandela was the first black President of South Africa

He focused on national reconciliation during his presidency

He founded a number of organizations to promote equality and fight problems like AIDS

Nelson Mandela was awarded the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize

Mandela received more than 260 honors in his lifetime.

GEORGE WASHINGTON

He became the first President of the United States in 1789

He led U.S. to victory in the decisive land battle of the American Revolutionary War

Washington established many forms in government that survive till today

Washington established the United States Navy.

THOMAS EDISON (1847–1931) One of the greatest inventors of all time.

He developed a wide range of products from the electric light bulb and motion picture camera.

THE WRIGHT BROTHERS (1871–1948) American inventors who successfully designed, built and flew the first powered aircraft in 1903.

SENATOR  ABIOLA AJIMOBI

Oyo State Governor, he’s the first to govern the State for two terms. Amongst his achievements are;

• Infrastructural Revolution; Governor Abiola Ajimobi renovates, constructs and re-constructs road networks across the state.
• Restoration of peace and security within the state
• Progress in Education Sector
  Recently, the state established Technical University (Tech-U), Ibadan, Oyo state, the first of its kind in the Southwestern region.
• Free Healthcare Services
  Provision of free health services to more than 300,000 people through the free health mission programme even in the state’s Adeoyo Hospital.

You have heard what others have done to make life a better place. What will you contribute to the society, politics, ministry and your family that will speak after you?

NIGERIAN SECURITY

I like to use this occasion to advise the Federal Government do to something drastic in securing the lives of Nigerians and their properties. It is very sad hearing brutal killings of people while the murderers are nowhere to be found. Some states are no longer safe, kidnapping and terrorism rampaging Benue, Taraba, Bauchi and Yobe State. What is the security agent doing to arrest the situation? The Federal Government must do something fast to put an end to this menace.

POLITICS & POLITICIANS

All politicians and aspiring ones must learn to play matured politics. They need to change their mind set because it not be a do or die affairs. They must let the interest of the people they want to govern be paramount in their hearts. Politics that is self centered must be discouraged. Our leaders should learn from the developed Countries, how are they able to have uninterrupted electricity supply and provide social amenities for their citizens.

Another election is just at the corner, why allow disunity? I encourage you to have common goal of moving our Nation forward. Therefore, get together in one voice for the betterment of Nigeria.

NIGERIANS

No matter what the enemy is doing our beloved Country will be great again. The future of Nigeria is good and bright. Nigerians, put your mind at rest. God is in control. He will arrest those troubling the peace and stability of Nigeria. Peace and unity will reign once more in Jesus name.

ON MY RETIREMENT

A lot of people are asking questions about my retirement. Let me use this medium to enlighten you on the issue. For the past 10 years, I was the General Evangelist of CAC worldwide. According to the Church constitution, I retire from that office because of my age. However, I did not quit the work of God, in fact by my calling, God called me to be Prophet and Evangelist to the whole world. Therefore, as long as I live, I will continue to spread the Good news of the Lord Jesus Christ all over the world. I welcome invitation from Churches as far as evangelism is concern.

 ABIARA DIVINE FOUNDATION

Another important assignment God gave me after retirement is to set up this foundation in order to cater for the less privilege, empower the youth, help academically sound but poor students by giving them scholarship, supports the orphans, widows, senior citizens, give helping hand to small scale business owner etc. By the grace of God, we have started this. We gave out clothing, foodstuff, funds to start business, we gave out grinding machines, Keke Napep, deep freezers etc. It is a not for profit organization, which would be officially launched very soon.

ON MARITAL MY STATUS

It’s a year and half my beloved wife Christianah Aduke Abiara went to be with the Lord. I missed her so much. It was all over the news when the event took place. A lot of people are wondering and asking questions what am I going to do? I told them I am waiting on God, that whatever He tells me I will do. Well, by God’s grace, I will remarry in few days time.

THE NEW GENERAL EVANGELIST

Let me take this opportunity to congratulate my successor, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji on his appointment as the new General Evangelist CAC worldwide. God will be with you. Help and guide you. The mission will experience more progress during your tenure in Jesus name. I like to encourage you to be prayerful and seek God at all times. Humble yourself and submit to the authority. It shall be well with you.

Also, all sons and daughters of CAC worldwide, I implore you to support and cooperate with the new General Evangelist to move the Church of Christ forward. As you do so, God will reward your labour of love.
