QUILOX Nite Club Boss, SHINA PELLER, Celebrates Mum @ 70

The city of Ibadan was shaken to its very root when Shina Peller, the Lagos big boy, owner of QUILOX Nite Club, played host to family members and friends for his mother’s 70th birthday at the prestigious Ibadan event centre called Gaso Lucio Event Centre. Attendance was strictly by invitation as gate crashers had no hiding place. It was the day Big boys and babes who are money bags made sure they stormed the city to honour Shina Peller, as his mum, Lady Peller, the pretty wife of the late Prof. Abiola Peller, turned 70. MEET THE AGELESS CELEBRATOR AT 70

Looking gracefully and younger at 70 was Lady Silifat Peller, the pretty wife of the late foremost magician, Prof Abiola Peller. She is the mother of Lagos big boy and Quilox Club’s boss, Shina Peller, and his other successful siblings. She has been on the social scene for over 40 years and still rocking it. Her path and that of her late husband crossed as far back in 1967 at Iseyin Grammar School in Oyo State, where Prof Peller went to perform and saw Lady Silifa Peller and they got married 2 years after. She is most famous of all the magician’s wives. Now, she is 70, still strong at heart and very agile, she rocked her expensive gold lace with a monotone gold gele and you could take her for a 50-year-old lady. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren and was all smiles  throughout the duration of the party as she enjoyed her day. She remains one of the pillars of the Peller’s family. Lady Peller was born in Kishi, Oyo State where her father was the chief imam and had five children for her husband. She also raised many step-children within the 26 years she spent with her husband before he died.

THE CLASSY PARTY WAS AT GASO LUCIO EVENT CENTRE

After the short morning prayer service for the celebrator, all guests moved to one of Ibadan’s most prestigious event centers, Gaso Lucio, situated at the Ibadan toll gate end of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway former tollgate in Ibadan, which made it very accessible to everyone coming  from Lagos and other neighbouring towns. The center played host to several dignitaries from far and near. Guests turned out in their two types of  colourful peach monotone Aso -Ebi lace attire. The car park of the center was filled to the brim and even all neighbouring spaces beside it were  turned to car parks for guests, owing to the mammoth crowd. It was a gathering of top socialites, politicians and top corporate individuals, who stormed the birthday party. Many caterers were on ground to cater for the guests and bottles of exotic drinks dotted the tables. The center was beautified with baloons, tinsels and buntings. Mama’s children did not spare any kobo as the party was one of the ‘A’-class parties in Ibadan. The entire multitude of guests was well fed and the hall could not even contain all.

Shina Peller,  is the most popular of all her children and he was honoured by many important dignitaries to celebrate her mum’s glorious birthday party.  He was up and doing at the party and made sure his mum alongside his younger siblings had fun all through.

MEET SHINA PELLER’S BEAUTIFUL WIFE, AYOBOLA

Ayobola is the beautiful wife of Shina Peller, she stood out at the party with her lovely style and complemented her look with a dazzling silver jewellery. Some of her friends honoured her at her mum- in-law’s birthday and she was seen attending to guests and welcoming her husband’s friends.

LADY PELLERS SON’S AND DAUGHTERS

At the party were the celebrator’s children, who are all doing well in their respective fields. They made sure all their guests were well catered for at the party. The daughters dazzled in a monotone wine lace and wine headgear, while the sons dazzled in a white outfit matched with wine caps. At the party were Olawale Mustapha Peller, Dr Basharu Morenike, Shina Peller, Abisoye Peller, Modupe Ajalaruru, Ajewole Peller, Salman Peller, Tunde Peller, Akinlabi Peller, Abimbola Peller alongside their husbands and wives.

BETWEEN SHINA PELLER AND GANIU SHONUBI

That intimacy that exists between Shina Peller and his friend of many years, Ganiu Shounbi is like stating the obvious. It manifested at the party because the party venue belongs to Ganiu Shounbi passeth all understanding and he made sure he locked down the centre all for Shina Peller. The Lagos and Ibadan big boys attend each other’s parties and have been together for many years.

AIG ALAPINNI HONOURED THE PELLERS

The former Assistant Inspector General of Police, Tunji Alapinni, stormed the party midway. He was there to celebrate with the Pellers. The Pellers are very prominent in Ibadan. So, also is the Alapinnis, so the family friendship has existed for a longtime and it still keeps on.

ONE STAGE -4 ARTISTES

It can only be at Shina Peller’s mum’s birthday that there would be ‘A’-list musicians also performing. It was initially scheduled that K1 de  Ultimate would be on the band stand, but that changed  and  Queen of Juju music, Ayo Balogun, was on stage, Kolade Onanuga known as K2 performed as well. Queen Salawa Abeni and Yinka Aiyefele too.

ONE STAGE – 3 MCs

The MCs of the event were 3 and they coordinated the events every well. Seen were:  Ramoni Akanni, Wule Bantu and Alariwo. DJ Gaupop  who mesmerised the audience with good music.

IBADAN SOCIALITE, JADE KUDDUS, LED OTHER CELEB WOMEN

Jade Kudus is,  a society woman to the core, who musicians praise to high heavens at any party. She runs one of the biggest and thriving shipping business in Ibadan. Very popular within the Ibadan social establishment and highly industrious, she is a force to reckon with as many of her friends love her to be at their parties. She was at the party and led other big babes in Ibadan to the party. She enjoys a close friendship with Tola Solomon Osifeso and had fun through out the during of the party.

BACK-TO-BACK PARTY FOR JIDE ANDRE AND WIFE, YEWANDE

Celebrity couple, Jide and Yewande Andre, are party delights anytime. It has been back-to-back party for the couple in the last 4 weekends. They were seen at Queen Ayo Balogun’s birthday penultimate weekend and they stormed Ibadan last week all for Shina Peller again. They were seen in the circle of friends.

LAGOS BIG BOY, LEKAN OSIFESO AND WIFE,  TOLA, COORDINATED THE PARTY

Lekan Osifeso is a man of many parts. He has common friends in almost all the South West states and he is always seen at parties in the last few months. He was in Ibadan to support his friend, Shina Peller. Alongside  his wife he coordinated  the party, moving back and forth, from one table to the other to make sure the party was grand.

ALAAFIN LED OTHER  OBAS

First class Oba, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, honoured the celebrator with his presence. He shares a close friendship with the late Prof Abiola Peller and he has never left the family unsupported for once. He stormed the Ibadan Venue all the way from Oyo with his entourage. Other Obas at the party were:  HRM Oba Owolabi Adeyemi Adeniyi, Onisabe of Isabe Kingdom,Oba Rasheed Jaiyeola Adetoye, Ona Onibode of Igboho Land, Oba Moshood Lawal Arowoduye Iba of Kishi Land.

SENATOR GBENGA BABALOLA AND WIFE BISOLA, SPOTTED

The senator representing Oyo North, Gbenga Babalola, was also there to honour the Pellers. He was seen at the head table with his beautiful wife, Bisola.

EKITI  FORMER GOVERNOR, SEGUN ONI, TOO

Spotted at the event was also Ekiti former governor, Segun Oni. He was there for Shina Peller and his family. He couldn’t  go unnoticed.

UNVEILING THE   INUMIDUN SQUAD

At the party were some set of super big boys, who are money bags. They stormed the party in a massive way and their presence could not be unnoticed at the party. They are called Inumidun Squad. They came all the way to honour Shina Peller.  Sighted were Ibraheem Dende, Egungbohun, Mufutau Isa, Sunday Ajileye, Akeem Adio Bounvita, Alhaji Tunde Gole, Chief Idowu Owoiya, Martins Idoha, Hammad Dantata, ATL and Akeem Imrab of Imrab Petroleum Company.

OBA SAHEED ELEGUSHI AND AKINSIKU OF LAGOS WERE THERE

The duo of best friends, Oba Saheed Elegushi and Akinsiku of Lagos were also at the party. They share close friendship with Shina Peller and they are among his premium patrons at Quilox Club. They also wore the aso ebi cap and stayed for many hours.
