RCCG Assistant GO, Olu Obanure dies at 65

The Redeemed Christian Church of God has announced the passing away of the assistant General Overseer to Pastor EA Adeboye, Olu Obanure, who passed on to Glory on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the age of 65. The church released a statement to express their grieve over the man of God, who have served the mission in various capacities as the Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Admin/Personnel), Pastor-in-charge of the West Coast with base in Accra, Ghana and as the Provincial Pastor, Northern Province 5 with Headquarters in Abuja.
Born in Kogi State Pastor Olu Obanure was a Msc in Communications and Language Arts from the university of Ibadan. He would be missed by his wife and children, and the entire RCCG family across the world.
