It didn’t also come as a huge surprise to many when she announced on her Ig page, she will be having a mega party, which is a 2 in 1 party. A thanksgiving ceremony and house warming party ceremony. For those of you who don’t know much about this beautiful mother of 2 and her journey into the entertainment industry, let’s take you through the world of Regina Chukwu.
Regina Chukwu started off her career as a make up artist in 2003 working with different skilled movie producers and directors. Her responsibilities included designing every character’s look, applying make up products on actors’ faces and bodies and using prosthetics to create special make up effects. Having come in contact with top actors, her passion for the career began to grow . She made up her mind to pursue a career in acting having gotten little experience, so she began featuring in television series before taking her debut role in the Yoruba film Ogunsho. She trained under Kunle Afod’s Legacy Theatre group alongside other notable stars in the industry today.
Popular Yoruba movie titled “Ogunsho” amd “Idaro” shot her to limelight and paved way for her in the industry. Ever since, she has never slowed down, as she has been featuring in Yoruba movies back to back, despite being an Igbo lady.
She is also the CEO of TripleR Production company and she has been producing outstanding movies back. She is described by many as one of the most hardworking and determined actresses in the industry. She is a widow with two children, she married her late husband when she was in her early 20’s and lost him four years into their marriage. According to her, he died after a brief illness and as a young woman she struggled to take care of her children and also laboured to provide her husband’s medication before he eventually passed away. In celebrating the new house she just acquired, she recalled her experience with her two children. According to her”…20 years after I was left with these kids alone. I am able to give them their own house.
“My kids finally have a house they can call their own. I remember how we had to move back to my father’s house 3 years after I lost their father cause I couldn’t pay the rent no more, it’s been 20 yrs now. I remember how we had to manage with my 5 biological siblings and 3 other adopted kids of my parents in a 3 bedroom bungalow, I remember how I had to sleep outside in the open with my mosquito net just because the house was too hot and stuffy for me. I remember how my kids grew through it all. I remember everything right now as memories are rushing back as I type this right now…”
Regina Chukwu has every right to celebrate big time and also give thanks to God almighty. She is indeed planning so big for the 2 in 1 party (Thanks giving and house warming) as many of her colleagues and well wishers are already jostling for the aso ebi for the party.
The mother of all parties will be coming up immediately after Ramadan, so her Muslim colleagues and friends can be part of the big celebration. Star Actress, and close friend of Regina, Kemi Korede is in charge of selling of Aso Ebi and putting a lot of things together for the party. A lot of vendors are already contracted to handle different aspects of the party, from food, to drinks finger foods and entertainment.
A good number of celebrities have been invited, and the female stars are already putting everything in place to outdo each other at the party. As many already know, Regina Chukwu on her own, is one of the most fashionable actresses in the industry. She always turns heads at every party and events, and many of her colleagues are planning to give her a run for her money on her special day. Come April, Regina Chukwu will be hosting the movie industry for her mega party.
She is also the CEO of Trippleglow Skin Care products, and a lot of celebrities patronise her products. Most of these society ladies will be turning up for her highly anticipated party.
