Residents Rejoice As CDA Chairman Commissions Massive Entrance And Exit Gates In Lagos

The chairman Agbenaje Phase II, Community Development Area Association in Agbado Oke-Odo, Hon. Ajayi Adewunmi has restated his commitment to bring more dividends of democracy to the people of his community

He restated his commitment to the community, at the commissioning of Entrance and Exit Gate projects at Ige Housing Estate valued at over N5 million, in Agbenaje Phase 2 CDA on Thursday, 01 April 2021.

Hon Adewunmi, who was accompanied to the commissioning by his political leaders and colleagues In Agbado Oke-Odo CDC said the projects became necessary in view of the sustainable development goals and security issues in the community

The chairman has carried out numbers of empowered programs and rehabilitation projects within his constituency and has helped many boost their businesses as part of the post-COVID-19 palliative for the people.

Speaking on the essence of the exit and entry gate project, the chairman highlights the security issue and development need to make Agbenaje a community where residents can sleep with both eyes closed.

“I decided to support the people to address security matters and to boost the face of our dear community.  This is just one out of many projects that we have earmarked to execute this year and we are requesting that the LGA and other upper structures support us in other areas that we cannot execute alone.

“The Gate is our own way of giving back to the people for their support during the last election. I have more plans for the people, it will excite them and make them have more confidence in our administration and our.

“I thank my leaders, Chairman Agbado Okeodo, Hon. Olabode Kasumu, Supervising Council leader, Hon. Biola Koyi, our traditional High Chief, Baale Julius Kolawole, the HOD Agric, Agbado Okeodo, party leaders and supporters for joining me to commission the projects.”

He then disclosed that more projects are on the way to be executed for the good people of the community which include more transformers, road rehabilitations, and the erosion challenge.

The supervising council leader, Hon, Biola Koyi, in her remarks, said the project commissioning was a way of giving back to the people and ensuring that they benefitted from good governance that Hon. Ajayi is bringing to the doorstep of the people.

She implored the party members and the entire community to rally around the CDA chairman and support his vision to transform Ikola Agbenaje
