It was a remarkable moment last Friday 21st May, 2021, when popular real estate player, Dr Bamidele Onalaja, the GMD, RevolutionPlus Property celebrated his birthday. It was a highly colourful and memorable, not just for the Celebrator but for every well-wisher who deemed it fit to celebrate with him.
The birthday celebration started even a day before the Big day. On Thursday 20th; a day before the birthday, Revolutionplus property, donated a learning centre to the Inner City Mission of Christ Embassy, in Lagos. This gesture was highly commended by the Christ Embassy Church and Senior Pastor Chris Oyakhilome who couldn’t make it to the venue.
At midnight when the property guru added another year, his beloved wife, Mrs. Tolulope Onalaja (Tee Baby) woke him up for prayers. That was around midnight. She prayed alongside her husband as he clocked another age. She also said good things about her husband. In her post, online, she wrote: “Happy birthday to the world’s best hubby. If I start today I won’t finish. My heart blesses you, my love. I bless the day I met you and the wisdom of God to guide and direct me to accept to spend the rest of my life with you. Then, when physically with my optical eye, there was nothing to hold on to. You were left with two shirts, one pair of trousers and one tie with a pair of black shoe, I remembered. There is something you had which was your love for God and your selfless heart. I went for those two virtues in you and today it has been grace upon grace. You are so inspiring, loving, faithful. You are so sweet and full of the holy ghost. Deacon of most high God and the GMD, RevolutionPlus Property”, she concludes.
Early in the morning of the big day, he was surprised by the sudden appearance of Yemi Sax who came around to serenade the Birthday boy. His coming was made possible by his wife and it was fun galore at their Lekki home. After Yemi Sax, came the Christ Embassy church members who praised and thanked God.
On the same day, The Chris Bamidele Onalaja Foundation empowered over 200 widows with grinding machines, Hairdryers, Sewing machines. They also provided money for every widow who had gone for trainings in soap making and Sobo drinks making. 50 thousand naira were given to each individual to start up. According to the celebrator, Dr. Onalaja CBOF was set up to empower widows, youths and also to give back to society in our own way. “Let also tell you that, a lot of people from all walks of life stormed Ikeja to celebrate Onalaja. Shortly after the empowerment programme, there was another big party where all the attendee were well treated to good food and drinks. There was enough food and drinks for everyone and a lot of cakes were given to the celebrator.
