On Sunday, 18th December, 2022 RevolutionPlus Property Development Company, had its yearly end of the year party. The event which was held @ Royal Oak Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos, had the who-is-who in the society in attendance.
It was a beautiful day, to give Thanksgiving for the year. As early as 9am, Dr. Bamidele Onalaja, the Group Managing Director of Revolutionplus Property, Dr Bamidele Onalaja and his lovely wife, Tolulope who is the Group Executive Director of the company, Mrs Tolulope, were already at Christ Embassy Church in Lekki for their Thanksgiving.
Few hours after, the couple and their team which include journalists, relatives, family members and staff went straight to the venue where the end of the year party was held.
Royal Oak is a beautiful place for hosting such event but it looked even more beautiful with colourful decorations, while the lights was beaming purple in every parts of the hall.
At around 1 pm, guests and well wishers had started trooping in as they were led to the red carpet section for the first assignment of the day.
HOW SEYILAW DAZZLED REVOLUTIONPLUS FAMILIES
If there is one compere who perfectly combines comedy with his job as MC, it’s no other person than Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known and called Seyi Law. He was the life of the event. His dexterity really added glamour to the already colourful event.
Shortly after his arrival was announced, he took over from there. Don’t forget he was the only anchor for the event and he didn’t dissappoint, as he dazzled the guests with his jokes. Both Revolutionplus family and their distingushed guests were well entertained in an unforgetable way.
POPULAR COMEDIAN, DESTALKER, DAZZLES
Another wave-making comedian, Destalker, is another person who also added glamour to the event. He cracked many ribs with his unique jokes. He’s currently one of the most sought after comedians in Nigeria. His performance of over 30 minutes was beautiful and memorable. His jokes were well felt that it got many people laughing uncontrollably.
GMD, DR BAMIDELE, PROMISES MORE
NEXT YEAR
The Group Managing Director, Revolutionplus, Dr Bamidele, thanked all the partners, realtors, staff and well wishers, for their loyalty and support over the year. “Despite all what happened in the course of the year, none of our staff left us. We are grateful for this. Even when it was so tough, they kept believing in the brand”.
The MD reveals that they have launched 4 estates this year despite the challenges. We stood strong during the trial. We corrected many things we noticed that weren’t right in the system. We improved our customers service. We improve on our delivery. We introduced the first 48 hours allocation.
We have massive clients of over 50 thousand.
We did great this year but we are going to grow massively next year. What we are going to be doing next year is luxury housing. We would be doing luxury housing. We have done a lot on affordable housing. We have a vision of going into housing. But we are not going to leave affordable housing.
Let me also thank all our Revolutionplus staff. Despite all the challenges this year, you stood by us. We can thank you enough.
GED, MRS TOLULOPE ONALAJA, ALSO PRAISES STAFF
The Group Executive Director, Revolutionplus Property, Mrs. Tolulope Onalaja, thanked her staff for always standing tall during the crisis. She said many of them even fasted among themselves. They coordinated themselves and stood tall during the crisis.
Mrs. Tolulope, who has been a great support to her husband was full of joy as the company honoured some staff who did well in the course of the year.
OBA OF ISONYIN, IJEBU, STORMS EVENT
The reigning King of Isonyin, Oba Abdul Rasheed Omotayo Cossy Salami, Ilufemiloye 1, Saderiren of Isonyin, who ascended the throne in November 2016, stormed the venue of the party with his entourage in which some of them are chiefs. He waited from start to finish. In fact, he was one of the early comers.
PASTOR OLUMIDE EMMANUEL’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Dr. Olumide Emmanuel is a deep-thinking author. His writings are largely analytic, research-based, procedural, offering broad perspectives. When he was sighted at the event, a lot of people were so excited, especially those who haven’t met the man of God in person.
He spoke about his relationship with the GMD of the company and how they have been friends for over 10 years ago.
He also shares some words of encouragement and the basic principles that one can imbibe to actualize them.
DR BAMIDELE
& DR OLUMIDE EMMANUEL HAVE COME A LONG WAY
They have been friends for over a decade. These two met while Revolutionplus GMD was still working at a Refuge Microfinance Bank around Ikeja. According to Dr. Bamidele, “Dr. Olumide was one of my customers then. And we have been good since then. If I have anything bothering me, I go to him. He told me a few months ago that what has happened was normal. He told me to be strong even more than before.
Also at the event is Dr. Larry Izamoje, the Group Managing Director of Brila Group. Also present are top realtors like Mrs. Alaba Alozie of Lasgidi Realtors. She was honoured, as well, as she won one of the categories of the awards.
WHO WON BIG AWARDS?
Some of the staff won big on the night include Wale Majekodunmi, Gbenga Adejimi, Adenike Idowu, etc, While the Revolutionplus Ikeja office won branch of the year.
We shouldn’t forget that GMD honoured about 27 staff with what she called MD awards. Each winner smiles home with a sum of 100 thousand naira.
While realtors and partners also won big. Some of them went home with cash gifts and other items like big refrigerators, air conditioners, microwaves, etc.

YOU ABOUT THE BEAUTIFUL DJ LADY?
She is DJ Pretty play. That’s her name. She was the pretty face who dished out music to guests. She lived up to her billing with good music to complement the good moment. Currently, she’s one of the most sought-after Disc jockeys making waves in Lagos. She is well experienced in her field.
Luli Band and Testimony Jaga did wonderful. Luli, who started with his special music got everybody on their toes as they rolled out special tunes.
