Paulo Fonseca has been appointed as the new head coach of Roma.
He has been signed on an initial two-year contract.
An optional third year could extend the deal until the summer of 2022.

Fonseca is the permanent successor to Eusebio Di Francesco, who left the club in March and was replaced on an interim basis by Claudio Ranieri.
He was with Porto previously and he won the league and cup double in all three seasons with the Ukrainian club.
