For those who follow the real estate business closely, you will find out that Adron Homes has registered its brand in the hearts of almost every prospective homeowner in Lagos, Ibadan, and Abuja, following the geometric rate of expansion of its branches across the country.

Do you know that Adron had just erected the fifth office building in Omole Ogba? This is just a tip of the iceberg, Adron is hitting the real estate market with a big bang this year, that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard.
One striking thing about the GMD, Oba Adetola Emmanuelking is, each time he bags an award or special recognition for the way Adron Homes is expanding, he would refuse to take credit for it. He would rather dedicate the award to his team of “Action” staff who are unrelentingly working to ensure that every Nigerian own a home through their flexible housing plans.

City People was fortunate to run into one of the top female team members who run Adron Homes and Properties and who make things happen. She is no other person than Folasade Oloruntoba. She is the Group Chief Operating Officer, GCOO and she heads the overall marketing department of the company.

City People visited her Lemon-themed office in Adron Court, Omole Estate, where she shared Adron Homes’ success secrets and the brand is set to change the face of real estate in Nigeria and abroad.

Let’s run through how the journey has been in the last 6 years with Adron Homes and Properties?
The journey has been fruitful and very productive because Adron Homes has been able to set a pace, a standard for other real estates in the industry by bringing a new face in Nigeria real estate and giving what is trendy and bringing it into our system. We have been able to stand out with our products in the industry by ensuring we bring housing with infrastructure in each of our estates. Before now the industry has not been known for providing housing facilities alongside with luxury comfort, and fun which Adron Homes have brought into the industry now. The face of real estate in Nigeria is growing rapidly to meet up with other real estates in other countries of the world. At the rate of things were bringing on board.

We notice most real estate companies follow your path and do whatever it is they notice you are doing. Do you feel challenged?
Not al all the industry is a large sector, just as I said earlier. We set the pace for others to follow. Its just about the Blue Ocean Strategy. We step up the business terrain in ensuring that we don’t only give out product with promos, we give customers satisfaction. So if other real estates are doing what we do now they can’t achieve what we achieved because we have a focus. We have a vision behind every products and promo which they might not likely have.

How easy do you find it carrying along all your existing clients in all your projects and promos
Our clients are number one personalities we takes care of from the start of helping them achieve their desired home or if it is in investment, we go through with them till the end of the stage, we ensure that once they subscribe, they pay through, they are able to achieve the purpose of starting the transaction. We help them build, we help them perfect the document and we stay through with our clients. Because they are number one special people. We give them affordability; we give them luxury, in a flexible payment plan. We stay with our clients from the start of their desire to the end of the process.

Is Lagos Housing policy affect your business?
Not in anyway, our business is not determined by Nigerian economy. We move the industry with the trend of demand and supply. It’s so amazing that when Nigeria was in recession, we had the highest sales turnover in the year. So we are not tied down with Nigerian economy. It’s just and indication for us to know how to row the boat of the industry moving it in the right direction to get the best return.

Let’s discuss your background and how you have been able to be part of Adron Homes success story?
It’s been exciting, its been interesting being part of this. I’m so glad to be part of this success story. In the past 6 years Adron has moved from its originating level to a peak which has become a city that cannot be hidden anymore. And we just started; we have a lot we still want to give to the public. Personally I will say it has really brought out more of the managerial skills and abilities to help the company achieve its sales target and boosting the company sales year by year.

We work towards our target and ensure that our target is being met. All of our sales representatives stand out anywhere they find themselves and this is my joy that I’m not only succeeding in the business I have others to follow suit. That is the joy of every leader. Those that have been mentored, those that have been trained and perfectly fit in, into the industry, it has been interesting and challenging and it has also improved my life in every way.

Where do you see Adron in the next 5 years with the pace at which you are growing?
I see Adron established in every home. I see Adron becoming a household name. I see Adron going into other continent with the vision we have. I also see Adron making Nigeria the best country you would ever love to invest in the real estate business.
Madam, if anybody is coming headquarter, you will notice that you have added more structures, how will that help the business? How come within a year, you have been able to achieve all these?

Firstly, I will say it is part of Adron’s vision to have an office in every local government of Lagos or any state we are located. Just as we are in Ibadan, we are in Ogun State and we are in Abuja, and so we are going to Port Harcourt. So any region we found ourselves its part of our vision to expand, to come to the nearest access of our subscribers and prospects. We want to be the next neighbour to our clients.

So that has always been our focus and that is why we keep opening our major offices. Presently we just opened our Omole branch which is an edifice; you will see a replica of what we do as a company. And I would advise the people in the environment to visit our new office that is in Omole Phase 1, 10, Adeyemo Akapo.
Also, we have a structure in place and we also have our own vision. We work within the ambit of our vision and don’t derail at all in anyway. It is in our yearly budget to keep increasing our land banks, increasing our products, increasing accessible offices allover the region where these products and region where these lands are allocated, also increasing our staff strength. These create job opportunity for the youths on board. We make job available for all Nigerian citizens.

How do you cope with your huge staff strength?

It is a planned scheme and we have a structure in place. We have a standard which every staff will have to follow and this has kept us all in check. There is a company’s culture that can’t be tampered with. We will keep expanding and keep bringing more Nigerians on board. We have our land banks, which keep increasing everyday, we are daily driven. So also we have our products increasing everyday, so we have the staff strength to give the public the information of what we have.

We have land in Island, towards Ibeju Lekki axis, we also have on the mainland towards Atan Ota, we also have in Ikorodu which we’ll be opening this February.
