A MEMORABLE DAY FOR SHERIFA
If there was anybody whose joy was full on the ‘D’ day it was the beautiful bride, Serifah Buruji Kashamu. It was obvious from her look. She was full of smile when she stepped out in embellished blue aso-oke from Brims 24 at few minutes past 10am. She joyfully danced before taking her seat beside her darling husband to be, Adekunle Ademakinwa. Many who admired her first appearance couldn‘t take their eyes off her full white crystal stoned floor-length gown, which looked so beautiful on her body frame.
Her beautiful diamond was exclusively bought from Jewellery Affairs. Her fully stoned Jimmy Choo shoe made her walk like an Ijebu-Igbo princess that she is. Her 3rd appearance was in a champagne-gold embellished Swarovski fitted gown. Though her neck length diamond earring from Jewellery Affairs looked simple, but it was an obvious luxury.

Though, Abidemi looked simple and calm, but looking straight into his eyes, one could tell that he has pure and undiluted love for Sherifah. He was full of smile as he signed the dotted lines with his wife. Many members of Kashamu’s family also testified to the fact that Adekunle would make a good husband. Many kept looking at the 1million stone luxury lace rocked by Adekunle, he kept looking at his wife and probably reminiscencing on all they had been through, to get to where they were that day. Adekunle and Sherifah’s union was blessed in heaven and solidified on earth. They have been together for 7years and their marriage has been blessed with 2 adorable babies.
THEIR RARE BUT AMAZING LOVE STORY
The love story between Adekunle and his heartthrob is a rare one. They met at a hospital, an unusual place and immediately took to each other. This was revealed by Senator Buruji Kashamu himself when he was called by Alfa Al-Salaam during the Nikkai to give his consent.
Senator Buruji Kashamu told the guests that his joy knew no bounds. He explained that Adekunle didn’t marry his daughter because of his wealth. He said that he didn’t even know, who he was when he met Sherifah. How then did he met Sherifah, his daughter? Senator Buruji revealed that Adekunle met Sherifah when she was sick. The sickness was much that she was hospitalised for over 6 months. Adekunle heart didn’t only melt after seeing Sherifah on the sick bed, he was even by her bed side without knowing that she is kid with silver spoon in the mouth. He stood by her and was always at her bed side for 6 months until she was discharged. It was after her discharge that they started dating 2years after. Senator Buruji further explained that it was at a point when he was so busy with work that he couldn’t be at the hospital in London, but the son-in-law who never knew who he was always around. He got winds of it at the hospital when he was told that a particular guy was always around to make sure Sherifah gain consciousness and stabilise her. ‘I did pretend that I didn’t know until Sherifah introduced him and after my findings, I gave my consent. They are not new to each other. They have been together for years. You are my son Adekunle. Sherifah is my daughter, but be sure you have my backing always. “He assured. The beautiful bride couldn’t hold back tears as she cried, while her husband mopped her tears.
BURUJI KASHAMUS JOY COMES TO THE FORE
If it was possible to ride a horse inside Burujis tummy on Sherifah’s wedding, it would be a hitch free ride. He was a proud father. He shares a very strong bond with his children and makes sure they have best education. He is also a disciplinarian, who made sure his kids are not spoilt brats. He was filled with joy when he saw his first son leading his elder sister to the Nikkai. He watched with admiration and smiled. He was also filled with joy seeing many PDP stalwarts, who came to share in his joy. He danced so well to Small Doctor’s lyrics with the couple. He loved Small Doctor not just because he is a Western town ambassador, but because she sees him more like a son.

If there was anybody who had no hiding place at the event, it was Mrs. Susan Kashamu, the wife of Senator Buruji Kashamu. She was filled with joy, seeing her husband’s daughter walking down the aisle. She shares a very strong bond with her husband’s children and they also treat her with utmost respect. Why won’t one love Mrs. Susan? She is not just beautiful; she has a heart of gold. She is also very respectful. She treats all the Kashamus with utmost respect. She was a cynosure in a pink multi-coloured HOH luxury lace matched with multi coloured precious stones diamond from Jewellery Affairs. The Kashamus never bought their diamond from any store other than Otunba Sade Adesoye store, Jewellery Affairs. Her beautiful mother, Madam Rebeca was the one who led all her siblings to the event.
MEET BURUJI KASHAMU’S SIBLINGS
Members of Buruji Kashamu family of Ijebu-Igbo were all out to support one of their own. They were one of the early callers. Alhaji Tayo Kashamu, Alhaja Busurat Kashamu, Pastor Otutu Kashamu led all the Kashamu’s family to Lagos for the event. There was no doubt about Senator Buruji Kashamu’s love for all his siblings as he told them to join him on the dance floor for the couple dance.
SADE ADESOYE SHINES WITH HER GUESTS
The Kashamus and Lagos Diamond merchant, Otunba Afolasade Adesoye are so close. Also called Otunba Risikiyat Adunni Afolasade aside being their personal jeweller, she is also the god mother of the bride, Sherifah. She was one of the early callers, who witnessed the engagement, Nikkai and grand reception. She also came with her large number of guests to witness Sherifah as wedding. She has been Sherifah god mother right from when she was young. They rocked a special turquoise lace matched with turquoise headgears. WHEN SENATE SHIFTED SITTING TO LAGOS
The Upper Chamber, Senate House Abuja shifted its sitting to Lagos for Senator Buruji Kashamu daughter’s wedding. Many senators made sure they came to share in his joy. Despite being a low-key event, they came out in their numbers to show love to the popular Ogun Senator. Even some top Pdp stalwarts also made the event. Among those who came were Senator Ben Bruce, Senator Ibrahim Mantu, Senator Abbba Ghana(Former Minister FCT), Senator LEKAN Mustapha and a host of others.
THE GRAND ENTRY OF OGD
A few minutes past 4pm, Otunba Gbenga Daniel took the hall by storm as he walked into the well decorated hall in full blast dignity. He spotted a white flowing agbada matched with white shoes. The excited bride’s father. Senator Buruji Kashamu, quickly welcomed him. He was at the entrance to welcome, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the Director-General of the Atiku Campaign Organisation. He was also the one who presided at the event. He coordinated the cutting of the cake. He advised the couple to always stay by each other. He eulogised the groom for talking charge. He counted 1 to 10 and the cake was cut. He was led back to his seat by Senator Buruji Kashamu as they both held hands. He spent many hours at the event and left at few minutes to 6pm. He was seen off by Remi Bakare, Engineer Bayo Dayo, Senator Ben Bruce and others.

Do you that Senator Buruji Kashamu and Senator Ben Bruce are very, very close? We can authoritatively tell you that they attend parties together and relate more like brothers than colleagues. He has always been present when the Kashamus hold events. He was at the Sherifah’s weddings to show love to his friend.
