In the spirit of Ramadan, top Islamic scholar and Director of Academics of the popular Daaru Dawah in Isolo, Sheikh Is-haq Zuglool Sunusi has charged Muslim faithful to always thrive towards spending in the cause of Allah.
The Sheikh emphasized this at the annual Ramadan lecture held on Sunday 25th April, 2021 by the Low Cost Housing Community Central Mosque, Oke -Afa in Ejigbo.
He outlined how the companions of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) usually compete in the act of donating to support the cause Allah in time of war and other needs of the early Muslims. He said they usually strive with the clear motive of earning rewards from their Lord.
He therefore prayed for the congregation that Allah should enrich them as he further admonished them to see to the development of the mosque project as a collective one.
While delivering a keynote speech at the epoch event Alhaji Abdulhameed Solate, MD Hajj Mabrur Ventures Limited extolled the blessings of the month of Ramadan which cannot be seen in any other months of the year. He however advised Muslim faithful to maximize the benefits of the blessed month which usually come in manifolds.
While giving votes of thanks the organizers appreciated guests for the massive attendance received both online and physical at the annual lecture. This he said would be first of its kinds in so many years in the community. He however prayed Allah rewards everyone who attended and spare their lives to witness more of such programme in good health.
