Emmanuel Tonade Taiwo is a versatile actor is set to take the Yoruba movie industry by storm .Though, he is no longer new in the show business but as the saying goes, a patient dog eats the fattest bone, which is what aptly illustrates the success story of the multi-talented actor. He is one of the hottest and new actors in the Yoruba movie industry at the moment after featuring and produced a lot of blockbuster flicks.
Taiwo was born from the popular family of Tonade in Ipetu, Ogun state. He attended Saint Agnes Primary School, Yaba and later joined Western College, Yaba before he gained admission at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in 2010 to study marketing for his National and Higher National Diploma Certificates. He is currently pursuing another degree at the University of Lagos.
Acting for him started in 2002 when he joined a movie caucus headed by Elder Samuel Showunmi and he got his freedom from him in 2010. Having not rest on his oars, he started producing his own movies in 2013. He has produced 3 fantastic movies including IFE OWU, OFIN ILUMI and IRIRI NLA.
According to him, “I started acting at a tender age, performing every night eve or youth programmes in my church at Iwaya Baptist Church, Yaba Lagos now known as (Corner Stone Baptist church). I normally act during this period and that was what influenced me before I joined, but it has been very challenging. A lot of challenges from productions and post productions at times because the producer needs to be very careful when the job is being combining together and be extra ordinary creative”.
Lately, Taiwo has been the toast of several movie producers, featuring in numbers of unique movies. He might probably hijack the industry in 2017 due to his ability in interpreting his movie roles.
