Excitement is building as preparations for the 15th annual Arise Women event, organized by the non-governmental organization led by Dr. Siju Iluyomade, gain momentum both locally and internationally. The event has received recognition for its positive contributions to national development across all sectors of the economy.
The event known as #StepUp for this year is expected to be even more engaging, enjoyable, and informative. According to the information that has been shared with us, there are many different activities planned to enhance the programs. There will be awareness programs, including the unveiling of the 15th edition special T-shirts with unique designs, as well as the announcement of the official theme for the season, which is called ‘StepUp.’
The Convener, Dr. Siju, who has been driven by a passion to positively impact the lives of the underprivileged for many years, continues to ensure the success of the event despite financial challenges. Once again, Dr. Siju is committed to making sure all the activities planned for the 2023 season are successfully carried out.
The Arise Women initiative has been experienced by thousands of individuals, including prominent Nigerians both at home and abroad. Notable figures in business, politics, entertainment, and religion, regardless of their faith or ethnicity, have witnessed tremendous humanitarian activities during the event. This edition’s major highlight is the official start of construction of the Arise Women International Centre, which will be a multipurpose structure that will house conference, vocational and skills acquisition, and empowerment academy centers. The building will also include a women’s hospital, hotel, and resort. The construction marks the 15th anniversary of the Arise Women initiative.
Main activities lined up for this season will begin with Arise Walk For Life on Saturday 14th of October. The Arise Golf Tournament holds at the prestigious Ikoyi Club on Friday 20th of October while Arise Football novelty match takes place the following day at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos Island.
The Arise Women Conference which will witness thousands of individuals across the Country will be held at the Trinity Towers and four other event centres simultaneously along COD road, Dideolu Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to the organizers, no fewer than 5000 participants, less privileged, will get the Arise Food Basket. Also, farmers will be encouraged with fertilizers and seedlings as a form of empowerment.
