Nigerian Afropop vocalist, Simi, has taken to social media to celebrate her husband, Adekunle Gold, as he turns 33.
The talented singer took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to share a lovely message to her heartthrob while restating her love for him.
“Happy birthday Love mi. I promise to lick your face, twerk for you, listen to your songs, let you lick my face, argue about stupid movies, tickle the f**k out of you, talk about nice books, strip, stop you from dancing, and tell you I love you as much and as often as possible. So help me God. I love you in a big manner,” she wrote.
Adekunle also celebrated himself, expressing his gratitude to God for life.
“Here I am, a year older today and at peace. My life is somebody’s fairytale and I am super thankful that God is crazy about me. #AGBabyIsGod’sBaby,” he wrote.
Born on January 28, 1987, Adekunle has established himself as a household name in the Nigerian music industry.
Since dropping ‘Sade’, a cover of One Direction’s ‘Story of My Life’ on December 19, 2014, the singer has amassed huge popularity, winning several awards alongside other honorary mentions.
He tied the knot with Simi in a low-key wedding in January 2019. The couple celebrated their first year anniversary earlier this year — with Simi hinting pregnancy last year October.
