SITUATION REPORT ON FIRE OUTBREAK ON 9, KUDIRAT ABIOLA Rd IKEJA

The agency received distress calls about a fire outbreak at the above mentioned location.
A combined response team of Lagos State Fire Service, LRT and the NSCDC worked to extinguish the fire.
Investigation revealed that ILLICIT STORAGE and handling of diesel on the open fenced land led to the outbreak. It was also confirmed that this premise has been used for this business for some year.
The situation has been brought under control while residents are reminded of the need to take responsibility with respect to life and properties and report such instances to the authorities.
