Okeowo Ayodeji Emmanuel popularly referred to as Okemoney by his many fans is a young man with an angelic voice whose love for God is evident in his ministry.
Okeowo Ayodeji Emmanuel, Hailed from Odogbolu local government, Ogun state. He Was born on the 1st of July and attended Aje Methodist primary school, Sabo for his primary education and proceeded to St. Finnber’s college Akoka for his Secondary education, And Yaba technical college for his higher education. He is a lover of music and football.

He once worked for Dele electrical giant work at Temperance hotel, Otta, Ayeni properties, Protea hotel Ikeja now Radisson Ikeja hotel as a Technician/ maintenance supervisor and electrical engineer

He has received several awards both locally and Internationally.

He has released two tracks, God’s Intervention and Ese Ore.He has also shared the stage with popular musicians in Nigeria.

He is the officer in charge of the church of the Lord Music Desk, The Youth Choir Coordinator of the Bible Society of Nigeria (Lagos Auxiliary) and so on.

His favourite quote is In everything there is time.

I am Okeowo Emmanuel Ayodeji, Popularly known as Okemoney.

Tell us about your background?
I was born and grew up in the city of Lagos, but I hail from Odogbolu, Ogun state…

Can you tell us about your popular tracks?


I have released two tracks God’s Intervention and Ese Ore, So far the two are selling fast and rapid all to the glory of God.

What inspired you into gospel music?
I took over from my father and he has served as a model and figure for me to follow.

How did you feel going into music?


I feel fulfilled

What is your inspiration?
God has always been the source of my inspiration.

Gospel artists are given less attention unlike the secular ones, how do you manage with that?
Every song and artist has a targeted audience, and the mandate behind my Ministry is to propagate the gospel and also give hope to the hopeless via my ministration, So far God has always been the driver and remains our no 1 promoter.

Have you at any point in your career tried to embrace secular music?
I sing gospel juju and highlife music.

How long have you been into music?
Since I was born, but professionally over 8 years ago.

Tell us about the early years of your career?


My early years were not really easy, numerous challenges showed up,I lost my dad at a particular stage and so on, but all glory to God, we are still on track.

What is your perception about whether or not a gospel artist should be paid?
