I don’t really have any secret, the only thing is that I’m a workaholic, and I always think before I sing, so if you work well with all your heart, you will be successful, I also appreciate my brother Alhaji Alabi Pasuma he’s one of the people that supported me all through, there is nothing special in it, if you are destined to be great you will definitely get there, but you must be ready to help yourself, I thank God for my life. I pray a lot and I sing meaningful songs.
Looking at your life ever since you started, did you ever think you can get to this stage in life?
Nobody ever expected it, you have to work to get there. We started with many but today they are not here again, they believe in quick money, some people stepped back. They don’t have patience, but here I am today enjoying my labour, by the grace of God I’ve done quite well for myself, my children are graduates and undergraduates, my son is a graduate, my first daughter is in 300 level, and my 2nd daughter in 100 level and another one is in Ss3 and Samsondeen is in SS1. So I thank God.
What is your own definition of success?
First of all (Oni lati ni Ori) i.e. have a good head, Secondly you need to know what you are doing, thirdly try to be faithful in your dealings with people, and don’t sleep, think of what you can do to excel, always believe in yourself, and be prayerful.

We are all one, Pasuma is my master till tomorrow Osupa is my brother. So we are one……
