He however sought divine intervention towards the completion of the project.

The commissioner, in his remarks, commended the king for the laudable project. He spoke on the relevance of the cultural and traditional institutions in the society. He advised traditional rulers on good conduct and assured the community of the governor’s support towards the realisation of the palace project.

The Chairman of Ijebu North-East Local Government, Honourable Folusho Badejo, while making his speech; spoke highly of Oba Odusanya. He acknowledged the many developmental projects he has been implementing in the community which he said were laudable. He added that the king is a God-sent who is very passionate about the development of his people. He reaffirmed the council’s readiness to always support the king in every aspect and would always respond to the needs of the community when the need arises.
