Najeem is a Finance, Compliance, Risk and Control Professional with over 16 years of progressive experience. He is an Assistant General Manager in one of the best banks in the world, Citi where is in charge of Capital Planning and Legal Entity Management. He was the Chief Risk Officer overseeing the risk functions at LOTUS Bank. He was the bank’s financial controller and the Chief Compliance officer.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a member of The Compliance Institute, Nigeria, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN), and Certified forensic investigation professional (IICFIP).
Najeem holds expertise and proven work experience in compliance, risk management and financial control with valuable work experience from GTBank, CitiBank, Access Bank, Jaiz Bank and LOTUS Bank. He is a sound consultant.
He is an alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University where he obtained his BSc in Accounting and MBA (Finance). He also bagged an MSc in Accounting from the same University where he graduated as one of the best students in his class. He is currently a student at the John Hopkins University, United States, where he is adding to his knowledge and skills.
