Seun Kuti is not happy with American musician, Kanye West’s recent comment.
The Grammy award winner said the spirit of Afrobeat creator and legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti flows through him.
Fela’s son, Seun Kuti disagrees with Kanye West.
Kanye West in an Instagram video said that he is the best artiste on the planet because he carries in him the spirit of Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, and Tupac.
“My music is the best on the planet. I am the best living recording artist. We, rather, because the spirits flow through me. The spirit of Fela, the spirit of Marley, the spirit of Pac flows through me. We know whom the best” Kanye declared.
Seun Kuti replied Kanye’s claims and wrote on Instagram;
“Erm erm on behalf of the Kuti family, I want to state that the spirit of Olufela Anikulapo Kuti isn’t anywhere near Kanye West. @ziggymarley over to you. ?????? @oldmanebro come to get ur boi before I #getthesax”
