The time to repent and build according to Gods templates is now. Jesus said categorically that he will buuld his Church and the gate of hell will not prevail and this means he is coming for a perfect Church.
So many things have been done for survival, with the excuse of the weakness of the flesh with compromises here and there. However God is unrepentant and he says to man you are inexcusable as he has never told us we can attain this independently nor does he expect us to do this in our strength .
Hebrews 11 is demonstrative of the feats men of like passions attained based on conviction . As they looked for the city whose builder is the LORD. This is crucial for all nations and mankind by the way. Some had to pay with their lives, some shut the mouth of lions . They did not Receive the promise, but we are recepients of the Holly Spirit, the blood of Jesus and with so much sacrifice by Jesus Having been bought by so great a price must do more. God says be ye Holly for I am Holly.
The attrocities in the Church leaves much to be desired. To quantify it is alarming, horrendous and demeaning. A lot have been driven back to where thay are coming from, people desperately seeking have compromised, some have died and a lot more have adopted the game of hypocrisy, deception by becoming men pleasers.
Pastor worship is the mode, do you know for example that the Apostles often asked Jesus questions despite being teachable. Jesus ensured that they were all equipped to go forth, and not run back. Hence the question posed to them at some point, who do men say I am.
The important factor was that this was not anwerable through human effort but the help of the Holly Spirit, which is there for every Christian who lives Right.
What we have so pervasive today is the attraction.of money, abuse and discontenance of giftings , a lot of sex abuse, manipulation, theft, homosexuality, Lesbianism, ignorance, charlatans all around. These are prevalent factors today, and more. So yes we are imperfect beings but we all need to repent, some pastors are even ritualists, adulterers and so on and so forth.
The fact that Gods calling and gifts are without repentance, does not refute Jesus statement when he says inspite of such miracles he will be compelled on that day to denial of such personalities by saying I do not know you, to such unprofitable servants.
This Morning I saw America repenting from slavery and if the Church in Nigeria are going to be instrumental in the reparation and reconstruction mode of the nations. One wonders if we want to do it withour nonchalant business as usual mode, from where i am writing this, will not suffice and God will eventually choose others.
We have not be chosen based on righteous deeds,, we need to intercede, wail between the porches and revert to our first Love. The Jezebel Spirit, Lukewarmness, Compromise of Balaam, ie,false prophecies, undermining Gods people, misuse of the Prophetic amidst othes grievous sins have got to go.
Indeed as we witness the signs of the end times can we sincerely say our Churches are altogether serious or ready? Jesus is definitely desirous and will come for the Church without blemish and we must unequivocally get ready.
