Trade Minister, Uzoka-Anite to expose Nigeria’s ease-of-doing business policy to investors at G-20 summit

The Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, will at the G-20 Summit holding in New Delhi, India, address foreign investors on the ease of doing business in Nigeria.

The Minister, who is billed to depart with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s entourage to the G-20 Leaders’ Summit on the special invitation of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will also address foreign investors who wishes to invest in Nigeria to create employment opportunities and also contribute to the country’s economy on other assistance the Nigerian government has in stock for them.

On sidelines of the Summit, President Tinubu, Uzoka-Anite, alongside some other key ministers like; Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy; Dr. Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy will participate in and deliver keynote addresses at both the Nigeria-India Presidential Roundtable and the Nigeria-India Business Conference.

The Minister will also use her expertise and background as a seasoned investment banker to strengthen bilateral, economic, trade, and investment partnerships for mutual benefits and also attract and canvass more investment opportunities to Nigeria.

Uzoka-Anite is also billed to meet with her trade minister counterparts from other countries to review existing trade agreements and sign more trade partnerships with other countries who intend to partner with Nigeria.
