The groom Abdulhamid Ayomide is from the families of late Alhaji Suleiman Garba –Nuru of Chinade, Bauchi State and Hajia Modele Sarafa-Yusuf a media guru and a honourary special adviser on information for Ogun State, Gov. Dapo Abiodun.
The Bride Aishat Nkechinyere is from the prestigious family of Sheikh Prince Mohammed and Hajia Mariam Nneka Mansur-Williams of the Akinsemoyin Royal Family in Lagos. On Saturday 2nd February 2020, these influential families in Nigerian joined their children Abdulhamid Ayomide and Aisha Nkechinyere in a wedding Walimat.

K-SQUARE SECURITY OUTFIT ENSURED MAXIMUM SECURITY
Personnel’s from top notch security outfit K-square were at every entrance of the hall to ensure that guests and properties were secured. It was a no invite, no entry party. Every guest who had their invitation cards and tags were the ones that were permitted to gain entrance into the main hall. The personnel were kitted and on standby at every entrance leading to the hall. They ensured there was no room for any form of shenanigans at any point.
ABOUT THE BEAUTIFUL DECORATION
Landmark event centre was beautifully decorated that no one can ignore. The entrance had a huge back drop and banner of the couples for red carpet that guest took pictures before entering the hall. The entire hall had chandeliers decorated with flowers and lightening. A special walk way created at the middle of the hall. The walk way was decorated in green rugs with guests on high table seated at the two sides. It was obvious that several million has been spent toward the big day. The centre space had glassy structure to design where the couples and bridal train had their dance.

Gbenga Adeyinka is a multi award winning comedian, master of ceremonies. He co-anchored the wedding with Babatunde Adewale popularly known as Tee-A. He is a comedian, masters of ceremonies, television show host and content producer per excellence. The duo ensured a lively atmosphere with their jokes. The entertained the guest so well with their comedy, hype and joke. They recognized the presence of dignitaries one after the other as they stepped in.You can say over and over again that any event that has personalities of Gbenga Adeyinka and Tee-A is a fun-filled event.

Hajia Modele Sarafa-Yusuf, the groom’s mother is known to be a very stylish woman and she made fashion statement at the wedding. She is also a very amiable and lively person. The bride’s pretty mother, Hajia Maria Monsur-Williams also rocked the same luxury lace with groom’s mother. Their first appearance was a two toned gold luxury lace and headgear to match. The second appearance of Hajia Modele Sarafa was purple luxury attire with a purple headgear and jewelries to adorn her neck, ears, wrist and fingers. She made fashion statement with her black stoned dress for her second appearance with a hijab to match. Sheikh Prince Mohammmed Mansur Williams rocked a white Agbada with a matching cap.

The glow on the bride Aishat and the groom Abdulhamid say that this duo has found love which transcends borders. It a union between Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa famiies. Call it the WAZOBIA wedding and you won’t go wrong. It is a royal wedding where gold and purple was the colour of the day. The bride made grand entry rocking gold attire. She was a beauty to behold. She was adorned with luxury beads, while the groom rocked a white agbada and cap to match. The groom added a brown Agbada and yellow turban during his turban ceremony by the shadan clan. The ceremony explains that the status of the groom as changed in the society. Their second appearance would blow your mind. The bride wore a very lovely silver dress and hijab and the groom rocked a black suit. The third appearance is lovely stripped dress and the groom wore a stripped outfit as well.

Dr Wale Babalakin is a Nigerian businessman, lawyer, philanthropist and the Chairman of Bi-Courtney Group of Companies. Over 20 ladies rocked the burnt orange Aso-Ebi lace and headgear. These ladies were exceptionally beautiful and made heads turn at the wedding. The groom men too did not slack at all. They were the Agbada gang. They wore a sky blue Agbada with a stripped cap that is mostly worn by the northerners.
It was an inter-cultural wedding between the western and northern part of Nigeria and this was displayed in the way the bridal train dressed. The combination of orange and blue worked so well and added more colour to the wedding. It was a team of over 30 ladies and gentlemen and they brought a lot of spice to the wedding. They even had a choreographed dance which has been rehearsed with the couple. They were really the show performer in fashion statement and vibes.

Sulaiman Ayilara Aremu, popularly called Ajobiewe is widely known as a gifted praise singer in Yoruba language. He is an expertise in eulogizing people from different sources. Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D’Banj came to the wedding and ignited the atmosphere. The bridals train was still having their dance when Gbenga Adeyinka announced the entry of D’Banj who did not enter immediately and this really made the couples train and guests curious. For a moment, they all thought it was a joke until dbanj stormed the stage from the back door. Ladies started screaming as soon as they saw the koko master. It was a memory they will never forget in a hurry. The bride was so surprised and it was like she was not expecting D’Banj on her big day. The ladies were jumping and screaming while the guys were bringing their phones out to capture the unforgettable moment. It was a time of serenade as the couples dance to fall in love by D’Banj. He performed his hit songs including suddenly, Igwe, fall in love to mention a few. D’Banj came down to greet royalties that were present as he performed Igwe.

After grooving to about five hit songs from D’Banj, he called out the grooms mother for a special dance with her song. Not many know that dbanj is not only a music artiste, song writer, producer but also an instrumentalist. His love for Harmonica is second to none. He played the song sweet mother for the groom and his mother and it was an emotional moment as the groom began to express his love, gratitude and prayers for his mum. The groom’s mother asked the bride to join the dance as dbanj played his harmonica.

Not many know that the grooms mother, Modele Sarafa-Yusuf has only sister who is also a business mogul and a philantropist. She is no other than Hajia Shareefah Biola Andu. She played an important role at the wedding. She ensured that guests were properly catered for . Don’t forget she is into the fashion business and she is of the opinion that Muslim women can be stylish, fashionable and trendy. GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN HANDLED THE CUTTING
OF THE CAKE
The Executive Governor of Ogun State, Dr Prince Dapo Abiodun and his beautiful wife, Bamidele Abiodun. The First Lady of Ogun State honoured the couple and their parents. Dapo Abiodun advised the couple on how to keep their family bonded and he spelt the word LOVE as the couple cut their wedding cake. The four stairs cake was beautifully decorated with white and gold. The guest joined the governor as he spelt the word LOVE which is the most important factor for a lasting marriage. Dr Dapo Abiodun was dressed in a white Agbada while the first lady rocked onion colour luxury lace with the Aso-Ebi head gear. It was time for photo session and dignitaries joined the couple as they took pictures.

Faith Band is one of the best music bands in Lagos. The all men band performed for Abdulhamid and Aisha’s big day. They style of Alujo Music will force any listener to dance because of the percussions they put into their music. The guests danced so much and were asking for more.
