Ugandan Minister of Health disguises self to visit a General Hospital, discovers patients pay bribe to get treated

There was pandemonium in China-Naguru hospital, after it was discovered that one of the ‘patients’ who wore a veil to the hospital, was Uganda’s Minister of health, Sarah Opendi.

The Minister who disguised herself, discovered patients had to bribe hospital staff to get treatment as two nurses who were to attend to her, asked her for a bribe before she could see a doctor.

Ugandan dailies reported that even the doctor and lab attendants, also asked for bribes when she saw them; an act which got them all arrested.
