“Journalism for me came as an instruction from God after I missed my service (NYSC) because of some administrative delay from my school. This made me very bitter and I was so angry in my spirit. I didn’t want to pray. I wouldn’t even say In Jesus name without shedding a tear because I felt God let me down.
But after some month, I had a change of heart and went to God in prayers and while on my knees, I heard vividly a plan for a radio programme, topics for discussion and how to go about it. So the following year with Batch B core members, I was posted to Edo State. Immediately i reached the camp, I went straight to the broadcasting unit and my radio programme became the rave of the camp..and the rest is history.
My experience on this job has been intriguing with some highs and lows but the drive to give voice to the voiceless is a burning passion that keeps me me that is why I always look for the people angle in my interviews because in reality we are holding the airwaves in trust for the people.
