In the face of hardship, economic meltdown, COVID-19 pandemic and every other hardship, Chemstar Group of Companies has shone like a rising star and has taken its place among the topmost employee companies in Nigeria.
The statement above was corroborated on Tuesday, September 7 2021, by the Chairman, CEO, Chemstar Group of companies, Dr Remi Awode when he revealed that his company has not failed to pay workers salaries later than the 26th day of the month since it was founded 26 years ago.
Dr Awode revealed this on Tuesday while he was delivering his 58th birthday speech at the Finecoat Paints complex in Lagos.
“While people were suffering and languishing especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, our staff were at home receiving their salaries. This is because this company is not just a business outfit but an assignment.
“I wasn’t to thank God for keeping me for these 58 years. When we were asked to shout 58 hallelujahs and it took such a long time, then I realized that God has kept me for so long. I also want to implore those of our workers who are sitting on the fence to please come into the folk.
“I am a very healthy person, every part of my body is working fine and as you can see, there is no grey hair on my head. It is due to God’s faithfulness and I appreciate him. If I say I should keep talking, we may not leave here today, thanks for coming”; he concluded.
Those who came to speak about the celebrant at the event all had something in common; they revealed that he is a compassionate and generous giver.
