The Anambra governorship elections is the subject on the lips of most Nigerians right now. Everyone wants to know who the next Anambra state governor will be. The election began on Saturday November 7th and was expected to round off with the release of results and the winner announced by Sunday November 8th. Well, the winner may not have been announced yet, but it is almost certain where the pendulum is swinging.
Going by the results released so far by INEC, the former CBN governor, Charles Soludo of APGA, appears to be coasting home to the Anambra state governor’s office. According to INEC results, he has won 10 out of the 11 local government areas announced so far. Soludo has pulled a total of 66, 388 votes. And from the news filtering in, the majority of the people seem satisfied with the conduct of the election and results released so far. He is followed closely by Mr. Valentine Ozigbo of the PDP and he is followed by Senator Andy Uba of the APC and Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of the YPP. As at the time of filing this report, there were only about ten more local government areas to be counted.
But while we await the final results to come in and the winner announced, let us take a critical look at some of the major prophecies revealed by some Nigerian clerics regarding the Anambra governorship elections. It must be noted that it was Primate Elijah Ayodele, founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual church, who, long before other prophets started showing interest in Ananbra election, had been talking about it for close to a year now. While the other prophets waited for the election to draw close so they can permutate, he was already seeing things divinely several months ago. For instance, Primate Ayodele, despite the heavy threats of IPOB and the state of insecurity in the state, had never for once expressed any doubts that the election will take place. Regardless of the killings going on the state and the warnings from IPOB ordering the people to stay at home during the election, Primate Ayodele, one of the most consistent and revered prophets of our time, insisted that no matter the threat of IPOB, the election will hold. And it held.
On the other hand, another top cleric, founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Chukwuemeka Ohaenaemere popularly known as Odumeje, in the thick of insecurity in the state saw things differently. He said very clearly that the election will NOT take place. He said rather than election taking place, all he was seeing was deaths! Hear him: “The future I am looking at, everybody will be shocked because there will massive death. I am seeing a massive death. And it shall be gun. Gun to gun.”
“I am looking at election that will come in Anambra State. Be praying. I don’t see election, I see deaths. I see deaths of guns[sic].”
“I don’t see the election holding. I have been praying and telling God. Because I am seeing where people kill people. Don’t say I did not said [sic] it,” he added.
Reverend Fr. Ejike Mbaka, on his part, did not say the election will not hold, but he said it loud and clear that Charles Soludo, the APGA who is leading the polls at the moment should not bother contesting because he will fail. He will be roundly disgraced at the polls. Meanwhile, Primate Ayodele never saw this happening to Charles Soludo. As a matter of fact, it is this same Charles Soludo that Primate Ayodele has told repeatedly that if he is smart enough and does the needful, victory may be his because the will of the people is to have the APGA man as governor of Anambra state. He also repeatedly warned APGA never to give APC the opportunity to go to court over the results because if they do, APC will win and claim victory at the polls.
He was also consistently saying it that the only way APC can win the election is through rigging. He further added by warning the people of Anambra state not to allow the IPOB sit at home order to stand because if it does and there is low turnout of the electorates, this will give the APC the opportunity to rig and manipulate the results. And just as though the people heeded his warning, they made concerted efforts and got the IPOB to suspend the sit at home order. This enabled the people to come out enmasse to vote.
At some point, some weeks ago, some mischief makers went to town, sponsoring stories in the media saying Primate Ayodele has declared that Andy Uba will win the election. Of course, the man debunked the story by saying that he never said Andy Uba will win. As far as the primate is concerned, the only way Andy Uba’s APC could win is via rigging. And he warned APGA and YPP repeatedly to be smart and be at least two steps ahead of APC in the election. Now, it is crystal clear who got it wrong and who got it right. It is also crystal to see who is relying on permutation by waiting till when the event draws near and those who make their prophecies several months long before the election was held.
Without meaning to hold brief for the primate who, by the way has become globally recognized for his accurate prophecies and deep knowledge of international politics and government affairs, it is becoming clearer by the minute that he is a true prophet of God who does not speak unless God has spoken to him. This is the biggest difference between him and any other prophet. This is the reason why everyone is talking about Primate Ayodele, the most popular prophet in Nigeria at this very moment.
