He was married to Prophet Blessing Agboli, with 5 beautiful kids.
He is known for his pragmatic militancy in prayer and his ability to communicate with humour the spiritual principles of God’s word in a much more practical way.
He was an apostle of faith, deliverance giant and practitioner of the kingdom prosperity. He is also known for his popular saying “I can never be poor again”, and strongly believes that “the best is before you”. His passion is to equip people to walk in the dominion power of God.
Apostle Joseph Dominic Agboli was the regular host of “Your Set Time For Miracles”, an international television programme reaching millions of households both within Nigeria, the West African sub-region and beyond.
He ran a weekly television programme pressed towards the goal of preaching the gospel and demonstrating the liberation power of God. Life-changing testimonies are indications that his messages have helped thousands of people to experience restoration, healing, fruitfulness and financial breakthrough.
He transited to Glory on Wednesday, the 25th of August, 2021 after 58 glorious years on earth. Below is the tribute of his wife, Prophetess Blessing Agboli.
“It’s never been so hard to pen my thoughts.
My heart seems blank, yet, there are words that must be written, not just words, but my truth about you. Truth like I have never been compelled to utter.
To the world, you were Apostle Joseph Agboli. The greatly revered man of God with an anointing that can only be likened to those of the patriarchs of Bible days. A side of you that I had the rare privilege to behold first hand, to serve, and to have stood in awe of, and will continue to. Without a doubt, to have served this grace upon you remains my life’s greatest feat. One for which I remain eternally grateful to Jehovah.
To me, you were Joseph, my adorable husband, the love of my life, my teacher, my father, my best friend, soulmate, a confidant of unmatchable loyalty, my first son who unlocked so effortlessly in me, the compassion and indescribably affection a mother feels towards her new tender born.
Sleep felt so good and peaceful just because I was beside you. Nowhere else felt safer. You were my human fortress. The lion who never took his dotting eyes off his lioness and cubs. Readily lying in oh, you were my warrior!
To our children, growing up was fascinating as they had a superhero in you. Even now in their adult ages, you remain so. They bear your name with incredible pride and dignity, they readily tell anyone with ears what manner of man their father is.
I never met a man as kind and compassionate. Being a channel of succour and laughter to any that came you way was your joy. A tireless giver and indefatigable helper! How do I ever get over the vacuum your depature has created? I hope I am as strong as you always praised me to be. This test is one I would never have adequately been prepared for, even with the best tutors available! Dear Lord, please help me!
Integrity was your watchword, truth was your ornament, love was your identity, forgiveness was your nature. Your faith in JESUS your Great High Priest, as you fondly call HIM was such a wonder. You were the express and most profound exhibition of unwavering trust in God that my eyes have yet seen. No adversity or adversary, no matter how dreaded, was a threat to you. Your God was always more than enough to hand you conquest over them. A reality you savoured even until your last breath. What a soldier you were! I sincerely cannot have a better ROLE MODEL!
I hear the echoes of your humour-filled call. Mama, Oh! How long to hear that voice again. I wish this is one of those pranks you try to pull on me when we play. Not that I am in contention with God’s will by desiring this, but that there is no other miracle I would rather encounter.
Nevertheless, not my will, but God’s will alone be done.
I will continue to hold the fort on your behalf till we meet again. Especially knowing how much faith you have always had in me.
Of course, only you can do it as you did, but because I want to make you proud of me as you always have been, even when I didn’t feel like I deserved it. I will give this my best effort.
Will this piece ever be adequately concluded?
Never! You left me, too many lifetimes to be told in just one! So, I will try to rest in here.
You were too resolute towards making heaven. I am glad you are there now. Thank you for availing me of the prestige of being your wife, partner, and everything else you saw me to be. I remain eternally grateful and thankful for the privilege.
I love you more than words will ever be able to tell my darling husband.
Please, don’t stop praying for me. Rest in Glory, Ugo’m, Dim Oma.
– Mama Blessing Agboli
