Governor Oyebanji of Ekiti State is putting all efforts and measures in place to make farming attractive and boost agricultural production for food sufficiency

The Governor recently distributed cheques worth N637m to cooperative societies and communities’ farmer groups in the state

He has also assured Ekiti farmers that the World Bank-assisted rural roads construction project would soon start in Ekiti, rehabilitating 74 kilometres of access roads to enable farmers to transport their farm produce from the farms to markets for sale.

He has given financial assistance to poultry farmers, employed produce inspectors to checkmate the nefarious activities of produce smugglers. He also subsidized input to the state’s cashew, cassava and other cash crops farmers.

Application Requirements:

♻️ Land free of encumbrance.

♻️ Letter of no objection from Baale/Community leaders and Kabiesi.

♻️ Minimum of 10 hectares of land (larger areas welcome).

♻️ Land with water bodies is preferred for optimal farming conditions.
