I am a Muslim by birth and by faith, I have passion and greatest respect for Christianity and I think every Muslim must also respect Jesus Christ. I have no objections to anyone who so feel comfortable with other religions as well, this I must be quick to state to avoid subjective analysis of my article.
I may not be correct on how others feel in the recent on Osun matter but as a philosophical writer and an artist of note, I feel strongly that what is presently happening in my native state, Osun, is beyond human comprehension. I may not be totally correct to believe that God is on duty but I think I know what it is for something to be beyond human comprehension.
These are some happenings that made me think they’re beyond my personal comprehension may be not yours. In as much as I am not a Christian, my curiosity and favour got made me develop the act of reading the bible. The second and third chapters of Genesis tells us that the operation of our worldly mind, is based upon separating all things. For example, a tree is neither the earth nor the air; a branch is not the trunk; a leaf is not a branch, because I think the world is made all of separate things, then I think I am also a separate thing. I am not the world and it is not me. And finally, with my worldly mind, I search for God as a separate thing. I think God is always “out there.”
On the other hand, science tells us that the rock upon which I stand is not “solid” at all. It is instead, an immensity of space with tiny condensations of energy always moving. Everything that we know is not a collection of things but local condensations of energy that are always dancing and changing and all are intimately connected. Man remains a terrible creature but God is the only one that can never fail .Our worldly minds live in a continuum of time that proceeds from past to future. Yet, there is neither past nor future, these do not exist. Only the projections of our memory causes that. There is no time. We live in an infinitely small moment, Right Now, and when that moment is over,we die and are reborn in a new arrangement of dancing energy.
I have died and been reborn more times than there are stars in the heavens. In the middle of all this dancing energy, I am aware. Therefore, in all the connectivity of the dance, the only conclusion I can draw is that the universe, all that exists, is aware. I am the eyes of God and I think it’s because I believe in him.
I have never had a recognizable spiritual experience, so I am merely a deranged young man wandering through a naive mind to find a befitting meaning for all the recent happenings as related to the political atmospheres of the state of Osun. A well designed and sophisticated organisation was put in place by the man, Alh Gboyega Oyetola. He appeared to me and with all honesty to have the call to serve his people, He subjected himself to personal scrutiny having listened to his inner self to name his journey ILERI OLUWA. He was so determined and I guess,he has a call to rule an unbiased empire, he was soon to face initial tribulations of palace coup and other several opposing internal forces which includes satanic temptation that almost derailed the God Chosen Journey. The cradle of Yoruba race and it’s kinsman that was to be the deciding factor to produce the winner was to be the first port of call and this writer was to be the first host. The rest of the course is now history that couldn’t be foretold or expected by any seer.
Lets come back to the reality that I termed “beyond human comprehension”. The star of the election is not even the perfect Gentleman Oyetola, or the Uncommon Outgoing Governor of the state nor is it the Director General of the Campaign Team or his Numerous Disciples which includes this “Writer”, but the very man whom God wanted to share from His glory….. Before the election which culminated to rerun and gave birth to words such as inconclusive and others, the man Sen Omisore who springs several surprises before and during main election, he maintained his cool and did more of persuasion in his campaign strategies .He proved every bookmaker wrong that names as widely predicted and prepared for him will not be his portion….
Who will ever think Sen Omisore can receive the National chairman of the ruling party,he played host to about four governors at a time his residence was expected to be deserted. That was God for you.He does his things in his own way.
Omisore going into “Extinction, Retirement, Oblivion etc, are not his portion.Alas, the living God manifested .The state with all its might and unprecedented transformation especially in the state capital and projects like school and roads found itself in a coma situation beyond human comprehension. It is like a house on fire, the cries of the occupants, woes and consequences of the ruin, is greater than Many, stakes became high, this and many more attracted the fire brigade(FGN) who ironically does not need the permission of the landlord (Sitting Governor) to break into the premises to quench the fire. That is how God works especially when He wants to give His credit or share His glory to whoever that pleases him. That was the Golden Opportunity that suddenly wiped tears off the cheek and home of Sen. Christopher Iyiola Ajani Omisore, Rtf Hon Lasun Yussuf and I guess there is nothing anybody can do about that. It was never their making. What then is miracle or was this not something beyond human comprehension if not such divine favours.
Who is He that can query God on how He does His things? It is a task began by God, it is a miracle and the turn of events that places other people’s fate on their laps…
If you therefore think it’s a plan and not beyond human comprehension, then let’s see which of God’s works any man can stop, reduce or predict accurately its end or His next steps… Best is for us all to keep appreciating the living God….. Check what you think is God, check that great man you bestowed your hope and anxiety on..He will never be there for you all the time..
God alone is the pillar that remains standing….
You have not read anything but I guess you must have learnt one lesson or the other.
