It’s no more news that a good number of movie veterans who graced our screen in the 80’s and 90’s are missing in action.
These stars made our childhood journey fun and interesting with their movies and series, today, a good number of them are battling with life threatening ailements, some of others can not feature in movies anymore due to their ages, and are neglected on the industry to fed for themselves.
They have indeed paid their dues as far as the entertainment industry is concerned. Despite all these, some are still living from hands to mouth, and nobody cares.
Lets not forget, that some have been extremely lucky and despite their age, they are still very active in the industry. Still giving us back-to-back.

Micheal Duru is a veteran actor cum director who is known for acting tough roles in 2000s, he retired from Nollywood due to ailment.
Eventually founder of Christ Mercy land church Prophet Jeremiah Futeyon gifted him 5 million to take care of his ailment and has since been scarce from the industry.
Also Emeka Ani is among the ailing veteran actors in the industry and the founder of Christ Mercyland Prophet Fufeyin also gifted him 7 million to take care of his health challenges.
Star actor clean Ohameze is among the veteran actors battling with health issues for over two years without help coming from anywhere. He eventually had surgery after Prophet Fufeyin paid his bills and extra money towards recovery, a total of 9.5 million.

She started her career with the Ojo Ladipo Theatre Group and still active in the industry.
Peter Fatomilola is a Nigerian dramatist, actor, poet and writer. He is known to play the role of traditional with a fluent recitation of Ifa panegyrics, he often features only on mostly historical or epic movies.
Kola Oyewo is a veteran actor, dramatic and scholar. After his retirement from Obafemi Awolowo University, he later joined the services of Redeemer’s University when he is currently the head of department of dramaturgy and currently performing at Elizade University, Ondo State as a humanistic discipline lecturer.

Remy Ohajianya is among the veteran actors who is currently battling ailment. Just last month he cried out, that he is terribly sick and needs assistance of good samaritans. He begged for 10 million to battle severe ailment.
