At any of Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma’s party, one thing is sacrosanct, Sarafadeen Adigun must perform before him. This has generated a lot of questions and some of them are why does Pasuma always allow Sarafadeen to perform before him? Who is Sarafadeen Adigun to Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma? Are they brothers? Many of these questions were briefly answered when City People hooked up with Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma at a movie premiere in Awoyaya. According to him “ I want to showcase Sarafadeen to the world. I want the world to know him through me. I want the kings, nobles and important dignitaries that know me, that listen to my songs, that always attend my shows to know him through me. When I’m singing for the President, I want them to see him. When I’m singing for the Governors, I want them to hear him.
When I’m singing for the kings and the nobles, I want him to perform for them as well. And so far so good, God has been helping us. I always refer him to people now. If you love to invite Pasuma to your party and you can’t afford my fee, I always recommend SARAFADEEN legacy them, and they’ve never been disappointed.
“Meanwhile, it is the wish of every successful person to have someone that will rise through them. As a matter of fact, that is the prayer of many of us. I’ve always had it in mind to raise people. I plan to help many young guys that show interest in what I do. I believe that is the only legacy one can leave behind. I want to be able to stand in life and say God helped this person through me. I also want them to say God raised me through Pasuma. That is another reason why you see him sing before me at any party.
Apart from these two reasons, SARAFADEEN is also talented. He’s a very calm person and he knows what he’s doing. I can’t really remember the year he joined me, but it’s been a while. He joined me when he was very young, but look at him today, he’s married with children.
