Dabota Jumbo is a charismatic leader, a seasoned banker now an Entrepreneur instructor at Federal Oil and Gas Polytechnic Bonny Island Rivers State and a member of the Governing Council Federal College of Education, FCE Yola, Adamawa State.
Mrs. Dabota Godswill Jumbo is the daughter of late Prince David Bull, a music maestro founder of Professional Seagull dance band Port Harcourt and her mother happened to have served several Governors of Rivers state as a staff of the Government of Rivers state domiciled at BRICK HOUSE, GOVERNMENT HOUSE Port Harcourt, Rivers state seat of Political Power.

She told City People that she was going into Rivers State House of Assembly to bring Development to the good people of Grand Bonny Island, Rivers State.
In 2018 prior to the 2019 House of Assembly election in Rivers State, Mrs. Dabota Godswill Jumbo, campaigned effectively and was ready for the D-Day until Supreme Court of Nigeria’s judgment stopped Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress APC from participating in the said 2029 House of Assembly, National Assembly and Governorship elections. In that year she took to her Facebook and Twitter platforms mobilizing supporters thus “Sweet friends and family on Facebook, I hereby state my commitment and reaffirm my position as Candidate of the APC to represent the good people of Bonny Constituency in the Rivers state House of Assembly.

After that sad incident of not being on the 2019 Rivers State House of Assembly election ballot paper, this top-notched female politician earned her a place in April 2021 as she was nominated as a member of the Governing Council Federal College of Education Yola, Adamawa State where she is contributing her quota of service to her country as a trained administrator having bagged a Masters degree in Business Administration-MBA from University of Hull, United Kingdom after acquired her First Degree in Biological Sciences from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
She rose to become a top banker having worked for many years in the banking sector of the Nigerian economy before retiring as Branch Manager GTBank Plc.
Now in 2022 she has positioned herself to clinch the APC Bonny State Constituency candidacy position with Woman2Woman Initiative campaign group, an all-female supporters’ group that helped propelled her political agenda to all the nooks and crannies of Grand Bonny Island, Rivers state South-South Nigeria.
Mrs. Dabota Godswill Jumbo remains a great humanitarian as the founder of Foundation For Widows and Less Privileged, a Non-Governmental Organization based at Bonny Island town in Rivers state.
