It’s no more news that many celebrities, most especially showbiz stars, females to be precise get married to their husbands as second wives or practically snatched the men in question from their wives. This has become a norm in the industry. When things like this happens, many fans quickly predict that the marriage won’t last owing to the circumstances surrounding the marriage. But in reality, many of such marriages have lasted 5 to 10 years, and their love keeps growing deeper and waxing stronger. This has prompted questions such as how do they really do it? And why is it that the first wives don’t even put up a fight for what actually belongs to them?
Some believe, there’s no point fighting a lost battle or rather fighting for who doesn’t even want to be fought for. Others believe it’s not worth it, fighting over a man, most especially when children are involved, it is better to concentrate on building the future of the children and patiently wait for karma to take its full course on the celebrity ladies who now derive so much joy reaping where they didn’t sow.
According to City People investigation, why these women lose their husbands to celebrity ladies easily, and lots of women are suffering owing to the unexpected heart break they get from their husbands. Some even get to know about the new relationship on social media. It’s a known fact, that every marriage experiences its ups and downs at one time or the other as there’s no perfect marriage anywhere. It takes patience, tolerance and grace of God, for any relationship to survive and last. But once these ladies realise their husbands are cheating on them with a celebrity, a good number of them immediately give up on the marriage without even trying to put up a fight, or work things out with their partners and make amends where necessary.
First and foremost, lets not forget that these celebrities have been into different relationships as well, and owing to their jobs, they are more exposed, experienced and ready to explore many possible ways to woo men, compared to the house wives, who are already saddled with many responsibilities, such as taking care of the family, home fronts and contributing financially to the running of the home. These celebrities come in with a whole new experience, and these men are more than willing to share the new experience.
The initial responses of most house wives, are usually like “let him explore, when he is done, he will come back to his family. Moreover, these celebrities only want to drain him of the little change he has, and once she is done she will end the relationship. All that has changed now. These celeb women are also very desperate these days. They have tasted and had enough fun outside, they want their own man at any cost, so if you play with yours, they take him from you on a platter of gold.
Unlike the old belief, most celebs are not all about wealth anymore, the way it was some years back. Once the man in question is good looking, with a good job, and little change to throw around, it’s okay by them.
It was also revealed that the housewives let their husbands go easily because, they get intimidated by the fame and sometimes stunning looks of the celebrity ladies. They are too weak to compete, most especially, if they are the quiet ones. Even when their friends urge them to fight for their right, they would rather tell them, they don’t have strength to fight, but prefer to concentrate on the upbringing of their children and in due time, God would fight their battle for them. Also, to most of the men involved, it is a prestige, a big deal being married to a celebrity. To them, it goes a long way to help them in some areas of their lives. They also enjoy the glamour that goes with it, especially when they step out with the new wives.
They suddenly make headlines and immediately become celebrities on their own. All these and more they enjoy and won’t want to let go. It was also revealed that these celebs, easily buy the men’s families over with cash gifts and others, and they immediately become their favourite, and where issues such as full bride rites have not been performed on the first wife, the man’s family could say, their son is not yet fully married (no traditional rites) yet, so the celeb wife automatically becomes the first wife, if rites are performed on her. Things are worse with women who don’t maintain cordial relationship with their husband’s siblings, parents and family. The family is quick to give the celeb the first wife’s position, neglecting the first wife and her children, owing to the many gifts and cash they have received from her.
A good number of in-laws become so excited that their brother is getting married to a famous person, thereby adding so much respect to their family. It was also alleged that most of these Celeb ladies are fetish and a lady who is very fetish without the fear of God, bold enough to snatch a man from another woman, would not consider how it would affect the children mentally and the suffering the first wife has suffered with the husband. So, most women will easily let the marriage go instead of exposing themselves to a spiritual battle that they are not prepared for or even have knowledge about. So, they let go easily owing to the fear of the unknown. According to them, let God fight the battle. Distance has remained a big barrier with Spouses who staykilometres apart. Mostly, the women are not ready to relocate to Nigeria with their children, considering the state of the economy, and also knowing the future of the children are secured over there. The moment the man starts threatening with a second marriage, they don’t even mind, because as far as they’re concerned, they have more to gain than lose.
