On Sunday, 29th September 2019 at the prestigious Lekki Coliseum, Skincare expert, Yeye Folasade Omotoyinbo was celebrated big time for her remarkable performance in the Beauty sector. It was at the 2019 City People Female Entrepreneurs Award. She is the CEO of the award-winning Poshglow Skincare Store & Spa located at 9, Ogundana Street, Off Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.
She looked so sweet in her designer outfit, as she stormed the event with her friends and family members. She came with her brand ambassador, sexy actress, Nkechi Blessing. She was honoured because of how she built her brand to the great height it is today. She told City People Magazine how happy she was to have been singled out for the honour. Tell me how you got into the Skincare business?
Ever since I was little, I have had so much passion for anything Fashion and Beauty, My husband also gave me courage and support, by building my dream in what I love doing. My business is just fun to me because I derived more pleasure by so doing. It is my passion. It is my hobby. It is my pass time.
How many years now?
We will be 2 years this month October 2019
Is that what you studied in school? Where did you study and grow up?
I did not study that in school. My venture into Skin Care was borne out of a passion for Beauty and all that has to do with Skin Care. I studied Business Administration at Akwa Ibom Polytechnic. I worked with the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti state for 10years, before relocating to London.
What are the services you offer at Posh glow?
I offer quite a number of services. This includes Body massage, body polishing, facial treatment, body scrubbing e.t.c I am also into the production and sales of Skincare products.
What are the major mistakes ladies make with their skin?
Beauty doesn’t only lie in being fair in complexion. One can still maintain skin color and still become beautiful. Some of the mistakes I see some ladies do with their skin is all, but not limited to the following:
(1.) Every lady wants to become fair or white in complexion. If not done properly it could damage their skin.
(2.) The wrong use of skin products is what some ladies engage in. This could lead to having patches on their skin.
(3.) Lastly, some ladies use different skin products indiscriminately, the results of this is sometimes skin burn, skin breakage e.t.c.
