revolutionplus boss, Mr Bamidele Onalaja, Real Estate,

On Monday 21st May, 2008, property merchant, Bamidele Onalaja, the MD/CEO of RevolutionPlus Property Development Company, celebrated his birthday in grandstyle, at his newly acquired office in Ikeja.  Birthday activities started around 12am prompt, as some of his friends, well-wishers and customers began sending text messages, while some sent cakes.

The celebration started when his wife, Tolulope served him a birthday meal around 6 am. And at 6:30 am, Haven leader group stormed his house as they prayed for the celebrant. Shortly after this, cakes started pouring in numbers.  At around 10:30 am, the celebrant arrived his Ikeja office. The sound of his newly acquired Range Rover announced his arrival, as staff, friends and his wife sang a happy birthday song to accompany him to his office.

The celebrant was overwhelmed and shocked as he  opened the door of his office and met the office beautifully decorated with purple and off-white colours. The presence of Merchant of Romance (a musical group) was another  surprise package for him. He was almost in tears to see those surprises from his wife.

Shortly after, guests started coming, some of them are; Segun Odegbami, Peter Rufai, Seye Kehinde (City People Publisher), Citizen Jones of Max FM, GM of Max FM ( Ojekunle Tokunbo). Also present were Florence Nkiri, Omaedo Osamor, Ayodeji Finnih, Mrs Yemisi. Many of his church members also came

More than 25 cakes were delivered to the celebrant, and that includes cakes from banks, friends, family and customers. During the celebration, Mr Bamide Onalaja spoke with City People about his life and business.

How do you feel about today with all the goodwill and activities that has taken place?

It makes me feel good, it makes me feel great and it makes me feel I still need to do so much because the appreciations and  prayers were just too much and it’s overwhelming. From 12am today, people have been calling me, sending text messages, and that shows I have been able to impact people’s lives over the years. I am happy and I pray that I should be able to do so much more to  touch people’s lives

Are you fulfilled within the short time you have been in the business of real estate?

One thing that has worked for RevolutionPlus property is our integrity; integrity is our watchword. We deliver what we promise. We are a top real estate development company. Our word is our bond at RevolutionPlus Property. When we say we will deliver A, we do it. Most times, we deliver as at when due.

At RevolutionPlus Property, our focus is God; we do what we promise. We allocate our estate as at when due, we deliver our project as at when due and we allocate our houses at when due. So people are happy with what we do. What is working for us is word of mouth. When you are good to ‘A’, ‘A’ will tell ‘B’ and ‘B’ will tell ‘C’. So, integrity is our watchword at RevolutionPlus. One of our focuses at RevolutionPlus is affordable housing. We want Nigerians, both home and abroad to have a house to call a home.

What is your intentions or plans moving forward?

We are not moving away from real estate; but we are doing it in a bigger way. We are going fully into housing development. We are building terrace houses, bungalows. We have started already and people have started buying. One of those houses is Flourish Residences, one of our signature houses. We have that in Sangotedo, behind Monastery road. We have in Bogije and some of our estates/houses are very cheap and affordable. You can pay the money over 3 years.

We are doing less of land sales. We want to go into housing construction. Immediately or before you finish your payment you can move inside. And for us, that is like a legacy. We are still going to be selling land but we will do more of housing development. We are also coming up with other investment.
