Wife of the first civilian governor of Akwa Ibom state is dead

Mrs Imo Isemin, the wife of the first civilian governor of Akwa Ibom state is dead, NAIJ.COM reports. Her husband died in 2009 and according to the press, she died after a brief illness in a private hospital in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.

She was said to have been taken to the hospital on Tuesday, September 19, after she suddenly fell ill.
