Ya’ Lateef Sisters Hold First Anniversary, Give Big To The Needy

Lagos based Islamic associationof women, Ya Lateef women has come together to celebrate the first anniversaryof the association. Having achieved a landslide programs and projects in thecause of the first year, the Ya Lateef sisters who are housewives, entrepreneursand women of substance who have thrived and succeeded in their variousbusinesses, find it imperative to appreciate God for the journey so far.

The sisters have in the past twelve months, empower widows, pay school fees for financially incompetentstudents, provided food item for the orphanage homes and have also supportedone another in various ways.

The anniversary was held at the Vetland school, near Oko Oba Agege and it was well attended.

Speaking about the significance of the event, the President of the Assication, Alhaja Risikat Bello  Stated the need for celebrating the women in the association.

According to her, the gathering started as a meeting after every Friday prayers in the mosque and has grown to become a big convergence. ..

Listing the values and significance of the association, she highlighted the virtue of promoting unity, healthy relationship and Islamic morals:Assisting and supporting one another within the ambit of reasoning: performing charity services on social, religious, educational and cultural activities: and conducting a transparent non profit organization.

She highlighted the common goal that brought about the meetings and why well-meaning Nigerians should support the movement into a greater cause
