YouTube History: 100 Million! Yemi Alade Makes History

Way back in 2014 when Yemi Alade hit song titled ‘Johnny’ was released in it made her one of the biggest female artistes ever to come out of Nigeria.

The song which broke many records and won her many awards is not done yet as it has just hit the 100 million views mark on YouTube.

With this, Yemi Alade becomes only the second Nigerian artiste to attain such a feat.

Late in December 2018, Davido made history becoming the first Nigerian artiste to hit the 100 million view mark on YouTube, with his video for ‘Fall.’

Yemi Alade took to Instagram on Sunday night, January 27, 2019 to share her excitement at this feat.
