Supreme Court on Thursday sacked David Lyon as the governor-elect of Bayelsa State.

Lyon less than 24 hours before his inauguration as governor of Bayelsa state.

He was the governor-elect of Bayelsa after defeating several candidates during the keenly-contested poll.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate was declared winner of the governorship election in the state in November 2019.
