In Nigeria, the social media space has seen the rise and fall of several influencers; however, there are a few that have stood the test of time. These social media influencers have truly come to their own in re-framing and disseminating brand messages to their rabid fans.It is generally accepted that one-on-one marketing and recommendations are the most effective forms of advertising, and it’s even more amplified when the persons talking about a product or service are individuals who have established authority and credibility. This is because consciously or not we make buying decisions based on the things we see on social media and certain characters play a huge role in those decisions.
