… To Campaign for a better Nigeria
Nigerian bicycle rider, Isaiah Peter has hit news headlines and bulletins for good as he began an adventurous bicycle ride from Abuja to Lagos.
The noble trip which he referred to as “New Hope Adventure” was aimed at calling for good governance and development as against tribalism, nepotism, religious conflicts, corruption and many other obstacles on the way of realising a great Nigeria.
Peter who left the Federal Capital City, Abuja yesterday Monday 6th of May, 2024, around 7am is at the time of writing this report in Ahoko Kogi LGA in Kogi state. He will be riding his bicycle through the corridors of states such as Kogi, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Ogun before finally getting to Lagos state.
On getting to Lagos state, he will head to the Alausa Secretariat in Ikeja, the seat of power of the state government to pay a courtesy visit and convey his message to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. He will also visit eminent personalities who live in the state. People like the CEO of UBA, Tony Elumelu; Chairman Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; and CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyeama. Peter also planned to visit President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his home in Bourdillon, Ikoyi.
He is one of the resilient Nigerians who never loses hope in the country. He believes Nigeria has what it takes to develop and all hands must be on deck to support the leaders to achieve more. Like he always said; “God did not make a mistake creating Nigeria a country of different ethnic groups. All the leaders should put hands together in developing Nigeria. You and I as citizens have a part to play in Developing Nigeria.
