YETUNDE AROBIEKE Buries Mum In Style

The entire  Ijebu-Igbo was very well lit up on May 20th 2017 as former Agboyi –Ketu Local Council Development Area chairman, Yetunde Arobieke, gave Mama a befitting burial. Prayers were offered for Mama’s departed soul at Saint Philips Anglican Church  in the morning thereafter guests from all facets of life besieged the Mulosi College Ijebu Igbo to  give Mama her last respect

City People’s Reporter, FEMI FABUNMI,  attended the glamorous burial ceremony  and now serves you blow by blow account of the event.

ABOUT THE DECEASED

  Mama  H A Sosanya  was born into the Ikupakude, Royal family of Mr. &Mrs. Daniel Adenuga on the 1st of Sept  1933. She attended  St John School, Ijebu Igbo where she obtained standard six certificate. She proceeded to Ibadan  to learn  fashion designing at Aminugun Ibadan, she was a profound designer before she got married to the late Pa. Sosanya a principal  of a  school at the age of 22.

She later became a successful business woman and solidly assisted her husband immensely. She was a model for womanhood and great supporter of her husband. Mama trained all her children  in the area of academics and in the way of the Lord. She was a disciplinarian to the core and this helped in moulding a very acceptable lifestyle for all her children. She was a profound member of many religious bodies including YWCA, where she played prominent and committal roles.

 Mama was survived by Children, Grand Children, and great Grand Children. Mama was aged 84

 SERVICE AT SAINT PHILIPS ANGLICAN CHURCH

 A church service was organized to pray for the soul of the departed at Saint Philips Anglican Church Oke-Agbo, Ijebu Igbo. The officiating minister Ven Barrister Tunji Adewole offered prayers for the deceased, he urged the congregation to always live a life worthy of emulation. He said he was very sure the soul of the departed would be resting well in the bossom of the Lord because Mama  lived a righteous lifestyle.

INTERMENT AT SAINT PHILIPS ANGLICAN CHURCH CEMENTARY

 Mama’s remains was lowered at the church cemetery, dust to dust activities were carried out by the children of the deceased.

RECEPTION AT MULOSI COLLEGE

Immediately after church service, guests converged at Mulosi College Ijebu-Igbo playground to celebrate a life well spent. The decoration, lighting and sound were well put together.

OPENING PRAYER BY PASTOR AKINBOBOLA

Ogun state based pastor Mr Akinbobola was given the singular honour  to  offer the opening  prayer. He prayed for the soul of the deceased and  asked God to grant every guest journey mercies back home.

 DOUBLE MASTER OF CEREMONY

 Popular radio Master of Ceremony  MC  Alayo and Bose  Olubo anchored the event and they did a fantastic job.  The synergy and MIC exchange between these  two was  wonderful .Stage control and delivery were perfect.  Guests were seen laughing and shaking to their rib cracking jokes.

GOLDEN SOLUTION PROVIDED SECURITY   

Heavily built security personnel were seen  mounting blocks at the various  entry point of the event centre. They ensured the event was devoid of any kind of hitch.

AYO BALOGUN  SHONE

Juju Maestro and Highlife musical act  Ayo Balogun in company of her back up singers mounted the music stage to thrill guests at the event. Her stage control and sonorous voice added glitz and colour to the event. Every guest was seen dancing and shaking to her musical beat.

M&J SERVED ASSORTED DRINKS 

Lagos based company M&J supplied drinks, all kinds of assorted drinks were served to guests at the event.

TWO  SET OF ASO-EBI

Some guests went for Brown Ankara with a touch of purple and purple head gear for women and cap for men, whilst some decided to don the Gold and purple lace with purple head gear and cap to match.  Irrespective of the type, everyone got gift.

DARLING USHERS  AT THE BECK AND CALL OF GUESTS

Surulere based ushering outfit darling ushers brought beautiful ladies who clad in cream lace and purple wrapper to match, they directed all affairs as well as being in charge of logistics at the event. These ladies ensured everyone was well catered for at the occasion. Put succinctly, they were at the beck and call of invited guests.

 THE FOOD WAS ON POINT

Josmart catering company Ojota, Madam Lolly Kitchen Magodo prepared and served delicacies at the event venue.  Guests were treated to all kinds of local and continental dishes.

 COMMISSIONER FOR HEALTH SHOWED  LOVE

Ogun  state Commissioner for Health honourable Babatunde Ipaye was one of the early callers at the event. He was the cynosure of all eyes, he looked so elegant, trim and fit in his white Babaringa. He came in company of few family and friends.

…AND KEREWA BITTERS BOSS TOO

 Mr. Sunday Oshifeso the CEO and producer of popular herbal medicine Kerewa bitters is also a friend of the house and he graced the event in company of few friends too.

 AGBOYI –KETU LCDA CANDIDATES DELE OSHINOWO STOLE THE SHO W

Everyone rose up to give a standing ovation to Hon Dele Oshinowo, as the shout of incoming rented the air. He is the anointed one amongst the entire contestant in the forthcoming Local government elections. He looked so radiant, handsome and elegant in his brown Agbada.

 ABOUT KAFILAT OGBARA’S AGELESS BEAUTY

 One had to take a cursory look at her to be able to recognize her. Former governorship aspirant under the aegis of PDP and now a member of APC  Kafilat Ogbara looks  20 years younger than her real age. She donned a cream and black coloured Iro and buba  with a cream head gear. Her skin also look flawless and glowing, she beamed with smile all through the event.
