In his welcome address, Amofaks Foundation President, Alhaji Adebola Sanusi, highlighted the foundation’s commitment to alleviating the struggles of orphans and widows. He revealed ambitious plans to enroll at least 1,000 orphans in schools and vocational training centers in 2025, empower hundreds of widows through business grants and financial aid and also Provide sustainable livelihood programs to enhance their quality of life.
As part of its mission, the foundation launched the ₦250 million Amofaks Orphans & Widows Empowerment Fund, with dignitaries making generous contributions.

Award recipients were recognized for their dedication to serving vulnerable children, with the honor inspiring them to continue their humanitarian work.
A key highlight of the event was the presentation of The Plight of an Orphan, authored by Alhaji Adebola Sanusi. Otunba Femi Oyetayo, Executive Director of New Age Publishers Limited, reviewed the book, commending its profound storytelling on struggles, resilience, and hope among orphans.
Sanusi shared that his personal experiences and encounters with orphans and widows fueled his passion for the cause. He emphasized that all proceeds from the book’s sales, donations, and partnerships would be directly invested in orphaned children’s futures.
The event was anchored by renowned Faaji FM presenter Dayo Amusan, whose professionalism ensured a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees.
