“I will greatly appreciate an appointment to meet with the President to discuss a proposition that I believe will help to end the incessant kidnapping of school children particularly in the north.”
“I strongly believe that if I am giving a chance to handle this disturbing and perplexing national malaise, I can help to put an end to this problem with support of the federal government and the backing of the Almighty God, in 2 to 3months maximum.”
Okupe said the President should look away from the fact that he’s a PDP member, and consider that the insecurity crisis rocking the country,us beyond being partisan, saying both the PDP and APC can only featured in 2023 elections if the present crisis is resolved, else it may jeopardize the forthcoming general election.
He added that he hoped that the President will grant him the opportunity to speak and share his workable ideas with him, as he could not have shared such strategies openly because of security reasons.
