On Saturday 7th October 2023, the ancient town of Iseyin in Oyo State was buzzing with excitement as Ace Mall, a well-known retail company, opened its 11th branch in the South West region of Nigeria.
The Chairman/CEO of Ace Mall, Prince Adeyinka Afonja, shared in his welcome address that the company is committed to providing quality goods and services at affordable prices. He also expressed confidence that the new Iseyin branch will live up to its purpose, following the success of Ace Mall in other locations like Oyo, Abeokuta, Ilorin, Ife, Osogbo, Ogbomoso, Ijebu-Ode, and Ibadan.
Afonja emphasized that the choice to expand to Iseyin was due to the town’s recognition as the gateway to Oke-Ogun zone. He noted that Ace Mall‘s investment in Iseyin is not just for profit, but also for the development of Oke-Ogun and Oyo State as a whole. As an Oyo-born entrepreneur, Afonja plans to prioritize Oke-Ogun, with Saki being the next destination for Ace Mall.
Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu also expressed his excitement and gratitude to God for the opening of the new mall, coinciding with the ascension of the new Aseyin of Iseyinland, HRM Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III. He urged the community and Oke-Ogun as a whole to patronize and protect the new mall. Other dignitaries at the event included the Ikolaba of Iseyinland, High Chief Ismail Tikalosoro, who represented the Aseyin, as well as Hon. Najeemdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji (O’Shine) and Hon. Saheed Adejare Alaran, federal lawmakers from the zone.
Also at the event are the ever supportive wife of Ace Mall boss, Princess Doyin Afonja; Yinka Afonja’s lovely mother, Mama Janet Arinola Afonja and the Chairman/CEO Begonia Hotel, among others.
