Sunday, 4th September, 2022 would remain a day filled with joy and gratitude to God for the families and children of late Madam Celma Omotunde Anibaba as they marked the 1st year remembrance since she passed on to glory. It is the desire and prayer of any child to live long enough to bury their parents in their ripe old age and that is the testimony of Mrs. Agatha Bamidele Olaniyan and her siblings.
On that day, The Governor’s Hotel and Apartments bubbled, as Sisi Dele, as she’s fondly called, threw a grand remembrance party for her mum. Joy filled her heart that she lived enough to celebrate one year after her mum’s passing.
The Governor’s Apartments’ Ballroom at Omole Phase 1 was filled to capacity, as top society women stormed the party. The Colour Code was Powder Blue and White. The hall was decorated with complimenting colours that brought a beautiful ambiance to the hall. It was obvious that she celebrates with people and they in turn, trooped out to celebrate with her.
Popular London society lady, Lady Simple showed up and showed love to the family. She is known to make fashion statements at parties and she did not disappoint fashion lovers that day. She graciously entered the hall with her friends in a luxury Blue and diamond coloured silk. The exotic dress called the attention of many. She blended it with matching headgear and Jewelry. She is a lively person and a good family member of the late Madam Celma.
Mama’s children thrilled her guests as they danced along the walkway, welcoming them to their table, as celeb women and men dazzled in gorgeous and unique styles for the occasion. The event started at 2pm with a musical rendition from the fast-rising MacDee Music Band to welcome the guests for a fun-filled event. The Band delivered over 10 genres of music that thrilled the guests.
Some of the children and grand-children of late Madam Celma Bamidele Anibaba gave tributes to their mother and grand-mother. They spoke on their different experiences and how the deceased was a very caring and loving mother. They miss her so much and can only pray that God will grant her eternal rest.
The guests recalled the biological, spiritual, societal, and Biblical relationship the deceased had with her children and people around her. She was defined as a mother of many virtues. Her sacrifices are too numerous to mention and her children are grateful that she showed them the way of the lord, discipline, and humility that has sustained them thus far. Mama’s character was also described as exceptional.
